In order to make the lipstick harder, you can add more beeswax into the mixture! It'll probably become firmer and the mold imprint will be much more defined. Especially since a lot of oil was added in the making of the lipstick, increasing the amount of beeswax would definitely help with the texture!!
I have been religiously rewatching every episode of Tried and Tested the last few days since I've been missing Shu An so much. I don't know why lesser episodes started coming out lately but I'm glad it's back on track! Please please please continue to film more episodes. I suffer from depression but nothing else brings a smile on my face as much as Shu An testing out different stuffs does!

Hey Shu An! If Im not wrong, theres actually a pink vacuum thing in the set that u can use to remove the lipsticks from the mold, so you dont have to try to pluck it out yourself which affects the shape of the lipstick :)
@@matreen427 there is, it's on the table only shuan didn't use it. What it does is you pull onto the syringe plunger which creates a vacuum suction effect to grab onto the silicone mold of the lipstick (which you will not need to manually remove the mold yourself causing that accident marks on the lipstick).

I just tried the liquid lipstick nails today and am super impressed! It was the easiest time I’ve ever had doing my mail and they don’t look to bad either, just a bit patchy. I feel like I could get better at it over time and think I’ll buy some cheap ones just for this purpose!
3:15 I'm chemistry major, during our practical labs we do this a lot 🤣 Though the assistant professors in the lab tell us off and how it's not professional and if we worked in a lab after graduation it's gonna be disastrous of how we are careless but I can totally relate 🤣

Because we have safety standards.... there's no way that for $40 for all of this, the ingredients are safe and uncontaminated and the workers who produced/mined/assembled everything were paid a fair wage.
Its not absurdly low. They could be suppliers themselves so there is no middleman charges and like the user below had mentioned, little to no overheads to account for. Whereas a shopfront, you have to account for overheads,shipping,etc and there must be a higher profit margin of the products to be incurred by the consumer. Sg manpower,rental and electricity bills for shopfronts are quite an amount.oh n product origin matters too. Chinese products are usually much cheaper but quality may or may not be compromisedxD
