I counted 319 birds! We stopped in Victoria on a cruise stop, very lovely city and we toured that castle. Coming from England (18 months in Bath), it was a little underwhelming but pretty and interesting. We also toured Butchart Gardens which was spectacular and I would highly recommend. Looking forward to your next chapter, where you heading? Cheers!
So many birds 😂 And yes that’s very true… but by Canada standards it was a pretty castle. Haha. Ahh yes Butchart is sooo nice. Unfortunately we were in the wrong season for that. Next time ☺️
Great video. Victoria is truly a spectacular city. The Haley Castle and its gardens was something to see. Fisherman’s Wharf looked spectacular too. What happened to Gord the Ford? You had fixed it up like new! Wished that I lived in Washington State, so I could take the ferryboat to the city of Victoria on the weekends. This was truly an enjoyable video!

I did have a little conversation with someone, who is in reality higher ranking than they and, we agreed the small "sexy" people's next and, hopefully final STOP is a place called The International Criminal Court so-eh...retreat is very needed and then, I will work myself - via wonderful friends - down to the most lovely country on our planet...iguanas, vulcanos, earthquakes, rain- & cloud forests, wonderfull normal people and all ....no more old black continent for me...pwyw...zzz What's happening to Gord the ford?? My fiancé and I make the trip to the island from Alberta usually yearly or bi yearly and we got engaged at the Butchart Gardens! We visit the castle every time as well! Check out Craigdarroch castle downtown as well ! So much to do and see in Victoria!

So fun! Cool you guys are looking into Ecuador. If you want a quiet, small town with one continuous wave to learn to surf, then Mompiche is perfect! If you know how to surf and are looking for a more trendy surf town, then Ayampe is your best bet. If you're there for 45 days, you may fall in love with Mompiche as much as we did haha
