Today marked my 3rd time hiking at Rocky Mountain National Park.I first visited in 2022 and hiked the following trails:
💫 Glacier Gorge
✨ Alberta Falls
⚡️ The Loch
🕶️ Lake of Glass
🌊 Sky Pond
☀️ Bear Lake
🎒 Bierstadt Lake
🥾 Fern Lake
I was so upset that missed the Four Lake Trail and it's been haunting for the last 2 years:
Lake Haiyaha
Nymph Lake
Dream Lake
Emerald Lake
So, 2 weeks ago (Jun. 1st), I decided at 3am that I was going to drive back to Rocky Mountain National Park and complete the objective.
A Snow Problem made this one of the most scariest moments of my life (to think I'm a 8 year U.S. Army Veteran with 3 Combat Tours). Nymph, Dream, and Emerald Lake each were frozen and the trailhead were covered in 2 - 3 foot of snow.
I slipped and fell on multiple occasions (lost count), plus I didn't bring hiking poles or spikes (it was disaster from the start) 😔
I was wondered where was Lake Haiyaha started (come to find out that entire trail was snowed in; I took a picture of the trailhead sign that day and today it dawned on me that the trail divide couldn't even be noticed because it was completely covered in snow ❄️
So, I completed 3 of the 4 and made it my mission to get Lake Haiyaha completed today. At 3:12 am, gathered my hiking gear and drove to Rocky Mountain National Park.
My goal was to complete Lake Haiyaha, then take the Glacier Gorge trailhead back to get better pictures of Alberta Falls because the videos and pictures that I wanted, could get completed due to the crowds.
Here's what I accomplished today. I hiked a total of 11 hours, 14.4 miles, a little over 30K steps, as well as the following trails:
Nymph Lake
Dream Lake
Lake Haiyaha
Mills Lake
Jewel Lake
Black Lake (hiked only half because there was unsafe conditions near the end of that trail)
Alberta Falls
Glacier Gorge
And yes, 2 trails turned into 8, but there was a blessing in disguise. If you don't know, I really enjoy bodies of water, especially Waterfalls. Today, I was able to Chase 8 Waterfalls and I have so many videos to upload this evening because today was an epic and if I could back to the start my day, I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Currently, I have 26 Subscribers (lost 2 the last 24 hours). I took advantage of the Vidiq 7-day trial and began utilizing it get better Titles and Thumbnails. I've been doing this the last 4 days to maximize the trial and I noticed that even with selecting the high scores for Titles and Thumbnails for my Videos and Shorts, it needed no benefit.
I'm aiming to get my front in the door and will try to my best with providing the best content. I have a long road ahead of me, regarding naming conventions for my Titles, but I'm hoping to figure this out as some point.
