Not sure if this “ breaks a record” or not but my sisters second baby was born with no brain … litteraly just a brain stem. Doctors said she wouldn’t survive birth. She ended up surviving for 2 years …. She was an angel so precious. It was a short life but going above and beyond doctors expectations … two years!!!

I had always had problems with pregnancy. Getting pregnant was no problem, but STAYING pregnant certainly was. I had all kinds of problems with my hormones that caused me to be entirely random about when or if I ovulated, and how many eggs I would put out at once. It ALSO caused me to miscarry early in my pregnancies, usually by the end of the first trimester. I had just lost a baby at 3 months, 3 months before. Going to the ER with what I THOUGHT was stomach flu symptoms. I was diagnosed with pregnancy, and they made me an OBGYN appointment for the next day. I told the doctor about the previous miscarriage, and told him I couldn't be 5 months pregnant. That I either had to be 3 months pregnant again, or 6 months pregnant with the twin of the one I lost. he ordered an ultrasound (rare and new in 1979), which showed I was INDEED 5 months pregnant. I described the baby I had lost, and he confirmed that it was indeed a 3 month fetus. He said the only explanation was that I had to have gotten pregnant with the younger baby when already pregnant with the one I lost. I asked him why I hadn't lost both, and he said I must have been carrying the older twin below the other one where passing it didn't affect the second child. That was long ago, my daughter, who I ended up carrying a month OVERDUE will be 43 in August.

I mean, medicaid probably shouldn't have covered fertility treatment in the first place. The income threshold to qualify for medicaid is quite low and I'm not saying poor people shouldn't have babies, per se, but if they're struggling to support themselves, is bringing a child into it, a child who will inevitably do without in life, really a good idea? Not to mention how many children are in foster care or being given up for adoption right now. It costs far less to help a child who already exists than it does to pay for medical intervention to have more children. Plus, there are governmental stipends and assistance to help take on foster children which are not available to those who have bio kids.

Yeah, I babysat for a girl who had a medical alert bracelet stating that her organs were reversed. She was adopted from India by a Norwegian couple who lived in Fairbanks, Alaska. I'm puzzled on this as well. I don't want to judge the lady, but I am wondering why she didn't try the method of artificial insemination earlier? Was it cost? Lack of technology? Resources? I think what you are saying is that the mother is a chimera. Sometimes fraternal twins will meld together in the uterus to become one person. Then, certain parts of that person will have DNA from one of the twins and the rest of the body will have DNA from the other twin. So the DNA in the ovaries may be different from DNA take from a mouth swab. Any children she gives birth to will have the DNA from the ovaries.

having babies at 74 is seriously ethically questionable.. how long on average do they have left? 6-9 years?.. choosing to become parents at the end of their lives means they are sentencing those poor kids on a life without parents at their most crucial age... im almost 27 and the youngest of 3 and i still feel mortified and lost every time i think i could loose my parents due to their old age... imagine having that happen to a freaking toddler.. not to mention their quality of life being lower in the first place due to all the immobility that comes naturally at that age... i'm shocked that there is a doctor in this world who actually approved such a procedure... and their excuse was that they couldn't have kids their whole life? that only means they had 50 years to adopt a child... instead they opted for the act of ultimate selfishness completely disregarding their children's future.. bravo for them.

This is like telling people not to allow the grandparents to help with the kids. Parents die all the time and leave their kids in the custody and care of the grandparents. You’re not going to say that’s unethical right? Anything those grandparents can do, that old lady and her husband can do. My paternal grandmother had my dad at 48 and she’s going to be 100 this year in December. I think it honestly depends on the health of the person. The video said the 74 year old woman was kept on observation in the hospital but she never had any health conditions or complications and birthed her two girls just fine. She could live to 100 and her daughters would be 26 years old when she passed. She had no health conditions at 74 which means she was very healthy. It’s likely she could live past 100.

nobody can decide that for others. Everybody is different, experiences and lives are be different. if they are not there anymore they will still have family to help. Not so much a miracle as a weird coincidence. During the process of giving birth to my youngest son, the umbilical chord wrapped around his throat, cutting off his breathing. I was luckily able to give birth quickly enough that I didn't need an emergency C-section, and my son was perfectly healthy. At about the same time as his breathing was cut off (from what we noted in hindsight, since it was less obvious in the moment), I started having a severe asthma attack and had to be put on oxygen. It had been years since I'd had such a severe attack, and with everything going on, I didn't immediately recognize what was happening until I realized I didn't have enough breath to speak anymore. So, yeah, big coincidence that my baby and I were struggling to breathe at the same time for two wholly different reasons. Crazy, right?

Yup, I have a cousin with 2 uteruses. My pregnancy with my son was almost a stealth pregnancy because I didn’t have any signs or symptoms until I was 5 months pregnant. My delivery was 43 hours, from the time my water broke until the baby came out my who-ha. My labor actually started, and was confirmed in the hospital, with contractions three weeks before my water broke (I was dilated 2 centimeters and just walking around like that 😅) Pregnancy is a strange and complicated thing. My paternal grandmother had my dad at 48. She and her daughter (in her 20’s at the time) were pregnant at the same time.

This is the story when I was born: One day it was a normal day in my old house except that I was supposed to be born in 3 weeks. My dad was a musician and was playing a show away from home. They were not ready for a baby yet, and then the impossible happened: My mom started feeling stomach pain. She called her friend to take her to the hospital. It turns out I was being born 3 weeks early. And since My mom's friend was there and my dad wasn't, Technically my mom's friend knew me before my dad did.

Its why ive personally had to give up on having blood children despite having had want to my entire life. Plan to adopt when I am in a position to do so. Note; Im not judging her merely stating the idea itself disgusts me a bit due to my personal reasoning.

A few years after my mom was born, my grandmother got pregnant (I think she was 23-24 yrs old). Back then and where they lived, they had kids at home. Anyway, a priest was called to give my grandmother her last rights because she delivered a 12lb baby boy. They thought they would lose both, but thank God they both survived. Needless to say when she got pregnant again a few years later, she had a 9 lb baby boy, never had labor, the baby just popped out. lol

This is a comment from another video that had comments turned off on this channel. It's called Unusual Kids Born With Super Conditions. I heard them say that after Dr's delivered a woman's son that they didn't want mama Zhao Huikany to see her son. Baby Zhao Huikany was born with bilateral Transverse Facial Cleft. I'm I the med field. All Dr's already know 90 percent of a time what disorder and conditions a new born has before delivering and the mother knows too. So why would they docs be shocked and not want mama to see baby? In ultrasound, any doctor can see it's definitely obvious of baby conditions, so why did the docs act so brand new to what they saw. It's been there as clear as day in their faces since 2nd and 3rd trimester right? How could these doctors have missed this?

Me and my sis are miracle babies. We almost died. But its not me who is the true miracle. My sister is. She was about to be born and then when she was being born her and my mother were left there for a long time like about 3-5 hours. My sister had her umbibical cord wrapped around her neck. She received more un-needed fluids than neccesary. But a doctor helped deliver her before it was too late. I still remember walking into the room to see a somewhat healthy little child.
