Hey! Product developer here.. I think you got the concept of the “solution” right but Marc jacobs wasn’t solving a issues with the monogram speedy or any leather goods at that. The brand already had world class craftsman’s. It’s little more solving fashion problems. ie, fit, fabric engineering, technology. Fruit of the loom, wicking underwear is a great exsample.
You keep saying solutions but what will a clothing brand solve? I feel like the word solution is throwing me off here *idk if because I’m a tech person*
So the problem my customers are having is that they need a t-shirt for events such as concerts and party’s, so my solution is offering them fly ass shit to wear to these events. I feel like I’m there but not 100% there on the topic of problems and solutions. If anyone there reading respond and let me know what you think.
Another problem I noticed is that most young people complain that the hip hop 90 vintage style tees are all Tupac biggie and Aaliyah so the solution I came up with was creating hip hop tees of the current generation of artist such as Detroit rappers and I sold a lot of those t-shirts
