If you’re an audiophile like me who loves their hi-fi audio system, chances are you've seen hundreds of hifi cable claiming they are perfect for hifi your audio system but have never really known what sets them apart from each other high end audio cables.
To answer this question, I decided to put Stealth Audio's USB audio cable through its paces by comparing it with hifi audio cables and digital cables and up till now my reigning champ by Siltech cables.
I discuss the way to get the best sound from your audio system and how to avoid the upgrade mistakes so many in hi-fi audio make with their high end audio system.

I bought this cable on your review. I can’t thank you enough. this has been one of the best changes in my hifi I’ve ever experienced. absolutely everything has opened up and improved. LUMIN u2, Weiss 204 dac with plixar ps, vinnie rossi l2 se preamp and agd audion amps Speakers are Fleetwood deville. I had audio quest diamond and this is a huge step up. 40 years in the hobby and I have never experienced such a huge improvement for the cost. keep up the good work sir!

I have the same Stealth cable for 2 years (coincidentally using Siltech speaker and interconnect cables too). Yes! You are right, exceptional cable.

I'm sure these cables make a difference on a high end system maybe someday I will have a high end system , my whole system now is just under 10 grand which I consider quality low end, anyway very interesting stuff I share your passion just not in the same league.

Hello! It's all about passion. You don't have to spend a lot of money to really enjoy the music. Take it one step at a time and enjoy the journey. You'll get there!

Excellent video! Siltech does make great cables and I have considered their 880 USB to connect my Innuos Statement to my MSB Reference DAC. The Stealth USB has been recommended to me and this makes it even more compelling. I would love to know the synergy if you were to add more Stealth cables and perhaps you would be even more awestruck.

Thank you! I have run the 880 Ethernet and their USB prior to the Stealth. Now I am running the Stealth Ethernet with tunable collar and their USB with tunable collar so I'm sure I am already seeing a positive compound effect. Hopefully we'll be able to switch over to full Stealth at some point!

Having done loads of tests over years, I agree that while, in theory, cables should make no difference, in practice they do. They can transform a system from harsh and unlistenable to musical and enjoyable. Appreciate your sincerity.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, without regard to the gratuitous negatively from some keyboard warriors. I appreciate your music taste as well on the B-roll. Nice.

Thank you so much! I get a lot of hateful comments that I just delete. I used to try and engage and have an adult conversation with them, but I realized they are just hateful, angry people with crappy systems trying to spread their misery. Trying to hold a respectful conversation with them is like trying to argue with a 3 year old.

Great video! I was wondering if you could share your opinion on at what point it would make sense to upgrade to this USB cable. As you mentioned, you already have the Telegartner optical bridge and switch, and very high quality interconnects and speaker cables, so i wonder if this is one of those upgrades that requires everything else to be hyper optimized already. My system is no slouch, but also my speaker cables and interconnects are sub-1k each, and I don't yet have a high-end switch, so i know there's wins to be had there, but waiting for the EtherRegen V2 to be released (although I do have my power dialed in). So, my question is: have you had a chance to try this cable with "downgraded" other components compared to your current setup? If so, did it produce a similar such affect, or is this one of those: after you have everything else at a very high level, this should be next? Thanks!

Hey - great question. Stealth does make less expensive cables as well. I would call Mark @ Tone Studios and he can help you. If you email me I can send you his number to contact him at. I will say after what I've experienced with these two Stealth cables, I now think you should buy their cables EARLIER in your audio journey so you know you are getting the best possible from your system.

It is difficult to explain to people that in order to hear a cable and be amazed, all the cables in the system must be of good quality.

Very interesting video! Thank you for sharing. A question, is there a burn-in time on cables? I'm about to order a new set of interconnects and would like to know what to expect in terms of "growth" of the new sound. And I'm not trolling, I hear a difference with cable risers (or not) in my system and I'm thinking if there is a burn in on cables I will hear that too.
@GreekAudioGeek
@GreekAudioGeek Год назад
Hey - different cables will require different amount of burn in. For instance the Siltech's only need 125 hours from my experience and the Stealth is 300+. I like to have a reference song or two when the cab le is new and listen to it. Then don't listen to it again until 50 hours and 100 hours of burn in (I just play music through it the entire time). Listen to the same two or three songs at the same volume each time and that is a great way to easily hear the differences. I will say this - it is song dependent. Some songs are recorded in a way it doesn't make much difference and some songs are a large difference. It will also depend on how correctly your system is set up for the room. But experiment and have fun doing it. Remember - no on on an internet forum can tell you what you personally can and can't hear!
