That castle was amazing but too dangerous in that wind for anyone to climb up into.

My other half was asking if Mazzy has got an insurance policy out on Dan? 😂

The stone monuments are one of three stone monuments (small decorative towers) built by Nicholson N of the broch along the coast. Built of stone pieces with some stones embellished by carving. Apparently originally held a light at night used to guide the fishermen into the harbour.

That old car in that derelict house looks like it might be an old Ford Popular from the 1940's/50's, and Festina Lente means Make haste slowly in Latin. 😊👍

What an incredible place! I don't blame you for not trying it though. I mean, I think I probably would have done myself, but it's easy saying that in the warmth and safety of home. No point falling to some terrible doom just for a good video shot! Amazing site though, so dramatic! It feels like one day it will all go, lost to coastal erosion.

I remember your previous visit to Bucholie Castle and how terrifying it was just imagining being there. If memory serves me, it was with Martin. I've looked for the video but can't seem to find it. Come to think of it, maybe I'm getting a bit too old to see it again. Thanks for bringing us back to this awesome place and for being mindful of it's very clear and present danger.
