Most dangerous cities of Oklahoma, a deeper dive. I went on a 2 year journey to understand what makes a town hit the most dangerous cities of Oklahoma list. Discussing what makes a city dangerous, how the different cities of Oklahoma rank, contributing factors and the facts on dangerous cities of Oklahoma statistics, all of this was taken in consideration when doing my study. I hope you find this useful when making a decision, but more importantly, I hope you take my advice at the end and visit the town you are looking to move to in Oklahoma to see how it makes you feel.

As an individual who moved to Oklahoma City after living in Dallas for 25 years, I can tell you it's a stark difference when you get out of the DFW metroplex. Simply looking at the numbers, there are approaching 9 million people in DFW. There are 4 million in the entire state of Oklahoma and half of those are in OKC and Tulsa. So when I read crime statistics, it's really distorting my view of what its like to live in a city vs living in the country. I feel 100x safer in OK walking the streets vs DFW, which has grown seemingly exponentially since leaving in 22.

That it seems a lot of things either aren't reported as violent crime, i.e. the drug trafficking up and down 35, or aren't reported at all, such as DA until it becomes a DH. When we were living over on A st the unreported shots were weekly a couple blocks down and the whole street knew which house to avoid, couldn't really get much police response in that neighborhood.

You should visit the depressing country town of Ardmore Alabama-Tennessee, it's on the state line, the police work on both sides, it use to be full of bars on the north side considering the Alabama side was dry since the start of the state's existence, but now is wet, but today most of the bars are gone being replaced by Dollar Generals, gas stations, powerball lottery stores, (TN side) the triple X theatre downtown is now a Chinese restaurant, the town does boast the best buffet restaurant within miles.

I have been in towns and went to the grocery store and walked out in the parking lot and saw a guy get killed in Memphis I thought damn I wish I was at home Ardmore I have literally been all over the place and there's no way in hell ardmore's compared to any major city and even smaller towns half its size on the East Coast.I think who ever wrote that report. @RealtorInOklahoma I think Lawton feels more sketchy because it's a bigger city in oklahoma. Things stand out a lot more in a city of 91k as compared to one of 24k because the sheer number of things is larger. More homelessness and drug abuse comes with more population. Larger parts of the city with insufficient funding.

Theft is rampant in that area. Drugs are rampant in that area also. No one cares. Kansas OK is the same. A lot of low life, do nothing type, people live in these areas. Linden Oklahoma for most of my life. Someone trying to break into my apartment one morning at 3:00 turned out it was too 14-year-olds who thought I was not there. Two 14 year olds being 14-year-olds. Until they saw the barrel of my Thompson staring at them. As soon as I realized he was in what they were I let him go to their parents. The only issue I've ever had in Oklahoma and that was 30 years ago. I think there's a lot more States out there a lot more dangerous than Oklahoma. I don't know if this gal is just doing all the states or what but. Come on girl get real with it if you're going to talk about crime. Talk about another state. It's not that I'm really butthurt that she picked Oklahoma. It's just that all these other towns and these other states are so much worse.

U can't pin ur singular experience with the safety of an entire state. There are some pretty bad towns here. Wewoka has been going through a gang war for example with multiple shootings in a week. When I lived in del city as a kid, we were robbed 4 times, had a gta attempt on our car, and had to call the police cuz on two occasions a drunk then a druggie had veered into our front yard, their wheels spinning in the mud right in front of our house. My friends in lawton were robbed multiple times in the same house they had for a year. Oklahoma isn't the worst, but it's not good when you look at the actual numbers reported by the fbi. We're #14 most violent. It all depends on the area and town

I don't understand the videos like this. If you're going to talk about dangerous cities let's get real. How about Oakland Baltimore San Francisco LA Portland Seattle Chicago New York. The list goes on and on.

Anchorage Alaska. Alaska is the most dangerous state in the union. It’s where I lived for over 30 years. My point was that there is danger everywhere. It goes back to finding out what you are comfortable with & don’t just judge a place because of some statistics you see on the internet. Thank you for watching!

@@kennyphillips5153 Not meant to be it just happens to be a similar laugh. But I see where you might think that since Kamala is a joke. Sorry. 😞
