I used Ray's bulletproof patriot while doing the Espresso-2-Go mission. Memorizing the locations for the coffee stands is a pain too since they aren't marked on the map.
@@Hyperion520 Well, to my mind it's not a big problem 'cause I passed GTA III so many times that's why I can easily remember all locations of the coffee shops
@@Hyperion520 Espresso stands will get marked on the map once you get within a certain radius of them. The mission timer doesn't start until a stand is destroyed so I used to just drive around the map and get all the stands marked out on my radar before starting to destroy them.
In GTA 4, there’s a 3rd dangerous area. It’s those heavily guarded buildings in Hatton Gardens. That area has a lot of cops as well. Depending on the Spawns, there can also be those Jersey Cops with Carbines everywhere. Very dangerous spot, especially since you also gain a 4 Star Wanted level.

Here's a correction: GTA 4: Niko can enter the prison without getting any wanted level because he's on the visitor list for Gerald McReary. Luis and Johnny immediately get a 4 star wanted level because they are not on anyone's visitor list in the prison. Also you immediately get a 4 star wanted level as soon as you enter the CC Building (regardless of protagonist) GTA 5: Entering the airport in story mode also gives you a wanted level just like GTA 4. You only get 3 stars tho unlike GTA 4 where you get 4 stars. You can enter the airport in Online because the online character is considered to be a "licensed pilot" and also in GTA Online, if you buy the Fort Zancudo hangar, you can enter it without getting any wanted level. Even if you cause trouble in fort zancudo while being a zancudo hangar owner, you'll only get 2 stars.
There's also the lost mic bar by the casino where they'll get hostile with Franklin and the trailer park full of lost mc will also get hostile. There's also way east in rancho a random vagos set that nobody really talks about
Fun thing about the mafia in GTA3 is that they only get shotguns once they become hostile after killing Salvatore. Earlier they do not attack on sight and they only carry pistols. It is 22-year old open world game and it shows. Some of those design decicions completely lock out exploration in a game where exploration is the main gameplay driving factor.
When going there The Rhino Tank is the weakness for the Mafia when entering their hood in gta 3 that is the best vehicle choice when you are struggling to explore the place
Those GTA 3 days were hard times. I remember the frustration when speeding through St Mark's during "espresso to go" and my car spontaneously combusting from a shotgun blast on every single attempt. I flipped Ray's patriot and couldn't for the life of me escape a 6 star wanted level alive with a rhino.
when you finish GTA SA's main story line missions, some territories still belong to the Ballas and Vagos in Los Santos, but if you conquer them ALL, the other gangs just disappears, and the city becomes almost 100% safe! At least it always happens in my version of the game (one of the originals for PC, from 2004-5)

I noticed that, regarding the Colombian Cartel in Fort Stanton, they are very strong and agressive around the middle part of the game, but after finishing every story mission they are weaker, even Yakuzas spawn there and they can help you deal with them
The columbians somehow get ak's after final mission which doesn't make much sense. But as I have seen they always lose against the yakuza in those street shootings. Yakuzas just seem to be more organized and coordinated and they wipe out the cartel bastards until the game spawns new colombians there.
It does make sense in a way. After the final mission the Colombian cartel lost there leader Catalina. Besides there at war with the Yakuza. Also during the story the cartel lost the building site to the Yakuza.
During the Grand Theft Aero mission, the Yakuza take over the construction site. Colombians still spawn there, but in smaller numbers and occasionally they fight with Yakuzas that also spawn nearby. After the final mission, the Colombians get AK47s, but only the ones in Shoreside Vale. The ones in Fort Stanton wield Uzis.
The altruist camp actually has some good loot including a assault shotgun, a RPG,several armour pickups,healthpacks and a baseball bat. Also the Humane Labs and Reaserch place is also super deadly.
I would also add the Merryweather docs to that list, the mercenaries that spawn in there are heavily armed plus you get a wanted level for fighting back
Afaik, you do not get a wanted level in GTA IV because Gerald has put Niko in the visitors list. However, Johnny or Luis will get a 3-star wanted level. Should be worth mentioning that you get 2-star wanted level if you get into the airport with a chopper instead of 4.
@@gibleyman Yeah they don't use any firearms, so they are only dangerous when you don't have car and weapons. But you can still run away to a safer area and problem solved. They must be the weakest organization in LC at that time.
Fort Zancudo is very hardcore in GTA V but exactly this is what I like at this Base their realistic air defensive with the F-16 jet is very amazing because you can do insane air combats against NPCs in a laser if you sit too in a lazer
The naval base have around one photograph and two oysters, which is, yeah, you need to be well equipped before entering the base. My first No-Cheat playthrough was wiped out just for finding the photo icon.
This brings up a very reasonable question. What has Claude been up to and where does he live after the end of GTA3? Because he can't still be in Liberty City. Or if he is, he's probably in hiding from all the gangs who want him dead
What I don't like about the San Andreas military base is that only regular police officers attack you instead of soldiers, which takes away the excitement and danger that existed in Vice City or other games in the series.
Also, it's pretty dangerous to be on foot out in the wild in GTA V. You can become a lunch for a mountain lion (cougar). In GTA IV you can drown if you stay in the water for too long (hypothermia? toxic waste?) Civilization Committee (United Nations) site in Liberty City is also highly deadly as you get 4 stars wanted level for entering it.
I wonder if Claude moved out of liberty city as soon as the story ended since every single gang, cartel and mafia wants him dead. I just imagine Claude desactivating bombs from his car, avoiding assaults to his house and every kind of covered assasins every single fking day
Claude moved to upstate Liberty City after taken all of his money from Catalina, I'm pretty sure he won't come back to lower state Liberty City after all of that.
He doesn't have a reason to stay, since he has very few friends(only D-Ice and Phil Cassidy+maybe yakuzas) but a shtload ammount of enemies. He earned a load of cash, so he can move anywhere he wants anyway. Upstate Liberty, Florida, San Fiero,San Andreas countryside etc.

That's why have a save editor for GTA 3 so I could turn off all the hostility of the Leone, Triads, Diablos, Yardies and also the Cartel. Though better have a bulletproof vehicle such as the Parriot given to Claude by Ray after completing the "Marked Man" mission when your going to areas such as Saint Marks. 😉👍

Gta 3 went very overboard with the mafia's aggression. You just can't go around there without a bulletproof vehicle. The end result is that the entire mafia map area becomes basically unaccessable
In GTA IV Hove Beach, Bohan and other gang influenced areas can be dangerous. If you accidentaly bump into a gang member or just looking at them long enough they start testing you by saying rude things and try to provoke Niko. If you don't react at all just standing in the same place they attack after half a minute.
