I have started to think about remote launcher for the much larger spinning top of death :D There's shit load of work when building that and lot of technical problems but if people like this video I am going to build HUGE one at the summer :D And for all those who thinking how long the thing spins. The answer is about 5 minutes with out the bolts.

I love how these two weren't just a one-hit-wonder with their hydraulic press channel. Their passion for making videos is still just as strong, and they continue to make new and original videos. They seem like great people to know personally, too!

For making a bigger one, you should make it with more mass towards the outer edge of the spinner. This would help because the mass further out is spinning faster at a given rpm, and thus it can hold more energy in the spinner before maxing out from air and contact friction. as well as this, the method you use to power it can apply for force (add more energy) the slower the spinner is spinning, which would allow you to add much more energy to the spinner in a given amount of time (albit it will be at a slower rpm). The end result of doing this is that you could throw very heavy objects at the spinner and it would have a much better chance of powering through the objects. If you are wondering about what shape you could use to accomplish this, I would recommend a torus with an added structure in the middle to spin the torus off of. Remember, with a torus the structure in the middle doesn't have to take the spinning force, the torus does that for you.
