Chris G said something similar to what GM said at the beginning of the video; “the cold people ain’t really playing no more, it’s just a bunch of kids.”
Asuka is bad but... - she punch parries you once, half lifes gone. - she kick parries you once, half lifes gone . - you duck once to her safe 16f mid normal hit launcher, half lifes gone. - u press wrong and she does panic evasive crap like b3 decently punishable only by few chars or 14f cancans that TJ almost instantly, half life gone. - u step wrong, half life gone with normalhit homing fff1+2 (+ a million on block) or safe mid ff3, or + on block f4. - u tech wrong, free unblockable thats + a million on block if she releases early and wallsplats either way. - while in heat she has access to a +2 on block mid launcher, meaning you will eat lots of d1+2 after her heat engagers connect. - she punishes you a -13 low while she is in heat you have to guess between a -14 only hellsweep or a mid + on block launcher. - uf3 has crazy recover on whiff since always, if counterhits you half life gone. - when she is in rage if you press youre done, if you dont press you have to guess if shes gonna to charge it or not. and these are only to mention few... but she is a crap character...
@@JDweapon2While you're not wrong, her defensive launches punishing aggression in an aggression based game, while buffed with a strong offensive kit, she's definitely playing a better game in T8.
That's real talk at the start of the video man I want to be a competitive player like a dream of mine and I'm playing everyday with Leo win or lose and studying my shit but at same time I'm 26 and got bills to pay and it's hard AF to save any money up to travel now days but maybe one day I'll make it to a tournament
What about training with Lil Majin? You guys have killer matches together. And he knows Lee too which would help in working out strats with him. Anyway we will support you no matter what bro. Peace
I always say but i have to say it again i love these where fightinggm talks Tekken like this its priceless!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎮💯💯💯 And ive been cooking online with my law ya heard almost fujin
You nailed it at the end with that heat comment. Lee in heat is literally just modern controls for scrubs. He should get a bonus reward for his difficult moves. Instead His high difficulty moves just become "easier" to do with the same outcome.
And as a scrub, im all for it. Lee is the coolest and most stylish character but being gatekept by legacy execution is getting annoying. Dont get me wrong doing perfect inputs feels great when it works, but im not going to grind for 20 years just so i can enjoy my character man, i got shit to do.
@@Beedji this. I spent my lifetime maining Mishimas. Im 36 now, im not about to switch to Lee and spend another lifetime with just frame inputs. Nah lmao
I’m Ngl bro you lowkey inspired me to level up by playing the game the right way. I use Lee as well and I personally wanted to bring solid Tekken with Lee to the NA scene. I’m Tekken God right now so I still have work to do but you should think about the one more run. Niggas really be dissing you cuz you really nice at this game bro you should show new gen just one time solid Tekken still smoking shit
Lee and Bryan’s matchup knowledge ain’t changed a bit 😅. Them bois ain’t got no new wrinkles to their game plans lol. Good news is we Bryan and Lee mains ain gotta worry about tryin to get into heat, jus play our game. Leroy is SUPER underrated, foo was mad underrated before his buffs. Folks haven’t been exposed to Leroy’s braindead and highly oppressive flow chart.
@@kodaijashinRight! I have a pocket Raven to my Bryan main and Raven has very nice combo damage! He’s not that great outside of heat, but once he’s in heat he’s DUMB!!! Got him to purple while drunk in an hour and a half from yellow 🤣.
@@NkodtbRaven can steal turns like Leroy and Yoshi, he gets away with murder unlike everyone besides those two lol. I think he’s mid outside of heat because he can steal interactions very easily.
@BustaNAugusta honestly, I don't even play Leroy and I think Leroy is worse than Raven. But that's just my opinion. Edit: yoshi is probably the best in the game. I think we all know he steals everyone's turn.
@@valonzeneli4614Anyone who doesn't put jim in their top3-5, is effectively downplaying him. And that includes basically 98% of the jim mains (whose opinions have lost any meaning anyways, I guess) but also a concerning amount of other players who just get propagandized. For instance, watching the latest scoreEsports video, a pretty big channel without character bias, where they mention "despite Raef using Jin, a mid character" will misinform newer players, will get parroted by jimbros, and with the countless examples like this, an objectively overtuned character flies under the radar.
@@valonzeneli4614 Everybody does know Jin is very good...he is also one of if not the most played characters in Tekken and requires very little execution to do extremely well while having a super safe and incredibly strong kit. Jim players constantly whine and bemoan that "he requires high execution at a high level" yet you see high level play being reduced to forced unfair 50/50's, wallsplatting strong heat smash jank, and stupid strings. Jin has been downplayed long before is current incarnation.
@@fightinggm i do agree his 50/50 in heat is busted bc both options can be safe like fc df3 and ws 3 2, it makes the character braindead in heat, i main raven to ik how hes played
I got my pocket Raven from yellow to purple in less than 2hrs while drink’n. It was mostly some matchup knowledge and his heat. He’s got definite weaknesses and is tough to break folks down that know the matchup. But once he’s in heat, he’s incredible. His heat by itself will win you each round.
Asuka is good, she just gets the most reward from making good reads, offensively and especially defensively, so shes only as good as she plays in the match. Knowledge also neuters a huge amount of her explosive moments but I do think her can cans and manual parries and CH options make her permanently dangerous. No one has to take me seriously cause im not that good but I dont think Asuka players historically have been that solid and smart. The fact that NO Asukas are consistently doing CH fcdf2 into df2 shows that, its literally a CH launch and no one is solid enough to do it in tournament and its not even that hard when you see harder stuff from other chars.
"u play against everybody regardless of who the f they r and train every single day'' That's like 300% right of how u can b srs abt Tekken, I agree, bro i so agree, that was like god-like wise talk, it's true.
Train with Ninjakilla his law been going dumb K wiss also a strong player i would say if you can fight a high level player use your platforms for help you are a insane lee player Gm literally the best in my opinion but you can mostly definitely find a good tekken 8 tournament training partner or even partners
As someone who plays both Raven and Lee, I gotta say you're wrong about Raven bro. He's not weak but he ain't that strong either. He'd be worse than Lee if it wasn't for how strong he is in heat. When he's not in heat, he's really not that strong. His biggest issue is that he doesn't have a 15f standing launcher, really hurts in this game. Lee's much better at punishment and whiff punishment than him with shit like Acid Storm, df2 and hop kick.
@@fightinggm You got a point but having solid tools in the neutral matters too imo. The top tiers like Dragunov, Feng, Jin, etc. are where they are more because of their general tools and not because of heat. Jin's heat is actually pretty underwhelming aside from his OP heat smash. Raven's crazy in heat but mediocre when not in heat so that kinda balances him, I'd say he's mid tier.
I think people want you to do a run cause they see genuinely how great of a player you are 1, and 2 they see the lack of respect put on your name. your a tekken legend man
I think I'm pretty well respected. The people that don't respect is a very small majority so I don't really care. I'm not sponsored or care about clout. I just do this cause I like to make content and videos
I agree, not many folks understand that Paul’s damage isn’t easy to pull off (not the most difficult either) and that he’s pretty punishable. Once you kno how to break his ultimate tackle, punish deathfist/demo man and his other string…he’s hard to play with at the intermediate and up level. He no doubt has a bunch of cheap stuff, but if you block any of it, you can make him pay…he don’t get it for free.
