He soft as hell. Im on a kill streak in Call of Duty Cold War right now... I am a hero, not everyone can do what I do, just because I make this look easy doesnt mean it is. Pray for my squad and I... We are beginning to start our next match.
@@EverythingCriminal you and your "squad" need to cancel all the circle jerk parties and do something besides playing video games. Mom always told me the video games will ruin your brain... From reading your comment I can see now that she was correct!
yeah he wasn't 100% sure but he ran up to the plate and supported him like a column, that's one of the realest things you can do, and he did it then and there and most definitely more times than that
I thought tht guy made it awkward tbh, david was just having a moment like hes been threw many times in his life and got threw it by himself everytime to think he needs help in this moment is like an insult this men can get threw anything. All glory to David
This man changed my life.. I was weak, addicted, full of anger and excuses.. I am fucking ripped now!! I can fucking run until the person next to me drops from exhaustion!! I have no excuses anymore!! Stay fucking hard!!
@@JustinTaylor1995 you might think you are alone at first. But in time things only get better. You have to believe that. Better people come into your life. Better laughs. Better smiles. The connection and relationships you create with people being sober is worth dying for. But I promise you. Step one is removing yourself from one's who don't have the same vision as you. There's a reason you don't want that life any more. Think about the story you tell in life down the road. It can be beautiful. I promise it can be
This Man helped me to get through a 2-year-depression Unemployed, suicidal thoughts . The only Inspiration that convinced me to get up , adopt , change . I owe you so much , sir
David Goggins's story helped me get through being a single mom. Now, he's 3, I have 0 debt, and just doubled my income with receiving a promotion! God bless David Goggins. #CantHurtMe.
It’s the toughest grind bro. I create 95% of my problems through the perception of my own mind. Two things that have helped me is to start focusing on other people more, like actively notice what people are doing and what good qualities they possess. And also telling your beak to stfu any time it wants to ruminate about something negative. For example, today I’m coming back from the gym and for no reason at all my brain went “some of those people thought you looked silly…I could tell”. So I didn’t even give it two seconds of thought, I just told it to stfu and I sent even think about it. And guess what? I feel great. All that negative ruminating won’t get you anywhere. It solves nothing and all it does is bring you down. When has ruminating about negative thoughts about yourself ever solved a problem for you? Getting out of your head is tough. But you’re right, definitely words to live by.
Man changed my life. I see him as a father figure. Because of him, he lit the spark to change my life. I got a job, reached $10k+ in savings, lost 50+ pounds, built my body up, and recently ran my first marathon with less than a month of training. God bless this man. He is a true hero and has inspired millions. If you're a Jordan Peterson fan, Goggins is the literal embodiment of his teachings. They compliment each other extremely well.
I love them both. They really helped me out. Peterson helped my mental side a little more and gave me courage to build a life i want to look forward to living. before i knew who goggins was i wanted to join air force after high school to be a pararescue men and we were in the same boat. We also have the same heart condition that he explains in his book. I was born with 3 holes in my heart and fully recovered and i get to look at how far and strong i pushed through to achieve what i went through. but i won’t ever stop because nothing is good enough. The only thing that stopped me after high school to join air force was the new vaccine. I went back a month later and wanted to continue my sign up. a week ago the senate passed the law to not require covid vaccine. I knew that was my call and time to shine. STAY HARD
You ran your first marathon with less than a month training? Crazy. Respect man. I just started running and I’m hooked. If you don’t mind me asking, what was your pace and what is your weight?
@@Alexander-dn4wc you can look up this guy's military record sure he might of been over seas again from what I've heard he was never in actuall combat killing targets...he is a good athlete and used his military status to gain from....not even saying he is a bad guy just stating what I heard from multiple SF guys...it's a pretty small community and they all know what's happening and who is doing what... especially in combat....
Comments like this come from the poorly informed and the bitter “I went through the last hard times” crowd. If only you could think, special operations forces still exist today and we’re not only old guys like me. Every generation has exceptional ones. They’ve been around for decades and they will continue. Don’t discredit the warriors of today because of their friends that are soft. Same thing all the older people thought about your generation.
@@Elijah31011 Yeah, it's just old people who want to think highly of themselves at the expense of the younger generation. It's literally a re-occurance for every generation.
106 pounds in 3 months? Courage aside, how many of us have EVER been this determined to win? To meet that goal and have NO excuses? Big lesson right there
He had one chance because they were changing the program that year. That would have prevented him from getting into the SEAL program. The switch flipped inside of him and he's never looked back.
He said he ate like one banana a day and just did constant cardio. I can’t imagine. I disgustingly use this as an excuse to eat cake: “if I ever get heavy like Groggins, I’ll just do the banana diet.” 🤣
There will NEVER be another Goggins. Man changed my life. And if your reading this hes probly changed yours too. Despite what he says, he most certainly is a hero.... to me anyways. STAY HARD!
People please appreciate the thing called “Internet” thanks to which we can learn and get motivated to change our lifes by people like David Googins or Andrew Tate.
In his book "Never Finished" he talks about the precise moment in this speech when he breaks down. Heartbreaking, no one should ever have to go through that. But he did, and became the epitome of excellence despite all of it. Absolute legend.
It's incredible that just mentioning his mom brings so much emotion to both of them. It really shows how much they've been through together to get where they are now.
David Goggins saved my life two times when I was in my deepest depression and nobody care about me. David you have my biggest respect, thank you for saving me.
@@budbutt410 There have been multiple team guys come out and say that he has severely exaggerated or straight out lied about this combat experience… there are some other things too. Do a little bit of research and you’ll find it. I know the guy has helped a ton of people, just not sure why he has lied about certain aspects of his service. He was bad ass enough as is, no need to embellish.
@@sober_edc6877 multiple sources but the guy going comment to comment arguing with people passionately can’t cite one. Take some of the time you spent making blanket statements, and arguing with people with 0 proof to find and link some sources.
Your friends will forsake you. Your wife will file for divorce. Your job will let you go. Your mum will tell you everything’s going to be alright, and despite everything, it feels like it will.
The warrior that came and **stood with him**... as though to say you're not alone, I'm here!! "I've got you and you've got this!" As he backed away slowly, continuing to check that Goggins was ok!! What a pair of heroes!
"I am not a hero, I served with heroes"... sir, you couldn't be more wrong. The amount of lives you have saved and changed for the better! You may not be a war hero, but you damn sure are a hero to so many men and women. The love and respect I have for this man is immeasurable.
My favorite part was when Mr. Goggins said, "You do it for the man beside you." That is some real shit and that's a very big motivator and principle as to how I live my life......That is when I'm feeling honorable and not stressed out and such.
Just like David, I'm proud of them too. The world would be a terrible place for me and you, if courageous men didn't sacrifice their lives for me, and for you. As a combat vet myself, I'm acutely aware of the need for courage in the human soul. It's the greatest of all virtues. God bless these men
I’m a female who was 30 pounds overweight, depressed, and laid the bed all day. David Goggins got me up out of that bed, made me realize that I needed to stop making excuses, to learn to suffer and like it. 7 months and 30 pounds less later, I am transformed. I hit the gym and became fit. I have young women come to me now for advice on how to become stronger and get in shape. I never dreamed this could happen. Please, listen to David every day. Do what he did. He helped me change my life into a miracle.❤
I’ve always been a bit cynical in regards to Goggins. But I’ve recently appreciated two things that have changed my mind: his humility, and the undeniable fact that he has helped many, many people with his attitude and story. Respect.
What an impressive dude. Guys like this don't get enough adulation. The public idolizes a running back or basketball player who plays a game for millions in many cases while these guys live a life of hardship to do the things necessary to have the country we live in today. Which by almost any measure is the greatest the world has ever known.
Strong men have strong emotions and it is with those emotions that pushes them to do more. The passion and drive is built upon what they put inside them. I find him to be so strong that no matter what he was feeling he stood there and didn’t falter or fall back and pushed through to say what he wanted to say there. He really is one of a kind and is on point about everything he said in his speech
It’s crazy as fuck to think had he just said to hell with losing 106 pounds, he wouldn’t be standing on that stage. That’s true grit, persistence, courage and discipline.
because of Goggins I dropped 30 lbs, fixed my knees and back, got through a divorce and got a better job and some confidence back. Now trying to motivate others around me. STAY HARD
What I love about this is it shows even when your a beast like a David Goggins. Your absolutely a man, and even more a man if you cry because it shows your vulnerable to your emotions.
Most are not heroes - like he said. David's story is so astonishing. He shows what heroes truly are. My dad was a hero - three tours in Vietnam, and a young family at home who didn't know he was coming back. To that young kid whom he charged with being the man of the house at 14 years old, in his absence, my dad will always be a shining light. He was tough, and tougher on me than any of the other kids, but that helped me later in life, and it's helping now that I'm facing a liver cancer threat. Even though I'm 67 years of age, my dad has been gone for 16, I miss him every day, and I want to be able to tell him one more time that I love him.
If you really want to understand why he started to shed tears as soon as he spoke with his mother listen to his audiobook “can’t hurt me”. You’ll understand afterwards.
David Goggins, whether he knows it or not, is a real hero to so many people who have needed to hear his profound message. Tough dude, had a moment, and the Goggin army rise up to give him a spiritual boost from everywhere. We can all support one another. Cheers
Theres a famous qoute / lyric "Ive never seen a Man die Until i seen a Man cry" I just watched David Googins surrender to his emotions What a beautiful thing to watch
David Goggins may not perceive himself as a hero, because he’s comparing with all the veterans. But for many people across the globe, he’s a hero and he’s mine too. Even though I never really was in a bad situation, I grew up in a good family, no issues, well mannered and athletic with good grades. But I’ve understand that I need to make my life harder because it wasn’t fair. How is it fair that everything goes well in my life when so many people on this earth has it so difficult. Since then, im trying each day to put myself in uncomfortable situation. I try to push myself whatever the goal I set. I’m entitled to see myself grow.
*Dear unknown person, we don’t know each other yet I wish you all the luck afterward from this moment ✨♥ you are a blessing you don’t know that yet, don’t blame yourself or else lose yourself in the desert of uncertainty, ur smile is precious keep that up* 😌
Wow, I am German, I have read David ´s books, I am nearly 60 yrs old, I am a medical doctor and my childhood was no fun. This man is my daily motivation not to obey my internal messages telling me how to be, what to do and what not to do. Sometimes I feel something like a 2nd life in me waiting to be discovered - and I am grateful for that. Thank you for posting this.
Michael Murphy, who he mentions for those who don’t know was one of the 3 soldiers who died in Afghanistan in the taliban ambush, which the film ‘Lone Survivor’ was based on! Absolute hero man
His two books are amazing, if you haven’t read them yet go read them. I’ve admired Goggins for years & years now. True inspiration & role model of what a real man & real person should be like. This man is the truth. We all are capable. We all can achieve great things.
Respect as a british ex infantry soldier who served in Afghanistan, fighting men have something in them, we don't want to let our men down next to us, its not that we aren't scared but we fear letting out mates down more than death.
