Redemption is having the same problem as mikaels - doesn't provide any ap. So if you rush it - it'll be weaker than staff of flowing water and ardent censer. It can be viable 2nd though!
Dawncore will be a late support item purchase. It should be good in certain cases (if your champ has good ap scales) but staff/censer should be better overall.
