Shigaraki's powers give me the heebie-jeebies. And I love how Bakugo was speaking for the audience by roasting Shigaraki and telling him to shut the hell up with the evil monologue. Bakugo is a king for that.
@@waterboy4512 nah were getting a final season. The last arc is pretty beefy. This season will only cover about half of it. HOPEFULLY, they dont pull a Haikyuu or Demon Slayer and make it into 2 movies or some shit.

I wouldn't say that because the intro pretty much confirmed where is this gonna end and after that we don't really have too much left because people forget that we have short chapters in this arc and once we get to "final battle" it's gonna go much faster then you think. Season 8 (final season) most likely gonna be total 10 ep at max. The epilogue part is gonna be like 2-3 ep or more depending if the anime is gonna give more "anime original" scenes/eps to expand on it.
The teamwork was super awesome to witness. Hawks, Tokoyami, and Jiro made a surprising effect trio. Endeavor might not be the most likable character, but he is definitely interesting.
This was a very good episode. The animation was stellar, the music choices were amazing, and the voice acting was godlike as always. Ngl, Endeavor's voice acting has always been the most consistently great thing about his character. Tetsu Inada really knocked it out of the park, and I'm sure Patrick Seitz will be amazing as well. Only downside for me is that while this fight is super good, I just don't like it very much. Writing-wise, it's kind of everything that I don't like about Endeavor as a character. I kind of wish that Horikoshi put more effort into Endeavor's atonement rather than his hero work. The closest this fight has to him atoning is just, him pretending to burn his past self yet again. Feels like a waste. Still though, for what it's worth, the hero side of Endeavor's character is still fun to watch despite not being written very well.
He's been atoning this entire time, everybody has different interpretations/preferences on how they would want it, in endeavors case he's stoning by being the hero shoto wants him to be, this has been shown and stated many times that this is what shoto wants. Natsu wants nothing to do with endeavor which is fine, so its not like endeavors going to be constantly trying to crowd him to apologize and his daughter (don't remember her name) seems neutral. I thinking its portrayed perfectly fine within the context of the story, just because its not what YOU would want, doesn't mean its "not written well" bro 😂
@@bubalfred260 The issue here is that you say “he’s been atoning,” when the vast majority of what he’s been doing is the polar opposite of atoning. Him buying the house for the family is the only time in the story that he actively goes out of his way to atone, and that’s what I consider not good writing.
It was way back when Shigaraki betrayed Overhaul. They took some of the bullets he had developed and held on to them. They're just bringing that back up now.

When someone is injured, they begin to put their back into the fight. A single mistake from that point onwards could mean death. AFO gouged All Might's stomach out. And that only made him more determined. All Might had nothing to lose. Endeavor with his past before him, a chunk missing from his side and one of his arms gone also had nothing to lose. AFO was reminded of the fear he felt when he saw All Might charging towards him on the face he lost his face and nearly lost his life. Endeavor stood where All Might stood and with the help of Hawks, Jiro and Tokoyami brought fear into AFO's heart. He showed why he is the new number one hero. He wants to move forward. Correct his mistake of ignoring Touya as a child by spending the rest of his life watching him now. And that's where things should've ended. That's where things could've ended. But not this time. Wounded heroes are the scariest, that's true. But villains are also scariest when wounded. And AFO seemingly still has another trick up his sleeve. Speaking of wounded people, Bakugo got pretty wounded in this episode. He thought about Deku and everything he's done as he fought Shigaraki. But it should be noted that while Bakugo did get his arm broken by Shigaraki that doesn't mean he's as powerless as he thinks. Bakugo's attack was the only attack so far that did visible damage to Shigaraki. It burned off nearly half of his face. Which is why he decided Bakugo's hands needed to go. And even more than that, Bakugo is Shigaraki's priority because despite Izuku and Bakugo's rocky relationship, he's closer to Izuku Midoriya than anyone else.

Now the obvious highlight is Endeavor, but like, shoutout to Bakugo too. He became war machine x1000 here! As for Endeavor, he’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done and go head to head with some of the strongest villains in the world. But as a person, he’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and do the bare minimum to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to do what he's been doing. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society.

How would you propose he atones for what he did then? Let me tell you something: he can't "redeem" himself more that he already did, no amount of good deeds will ever make up for his past abuse. Atoning is not forgiving or redeming, it's to do the time and to do things for making it up to his family, wich he already declared he is doing and will do, both financially and phisically if required, and just wait if you are an anime only... you haven't seen the half of his atonement.

I’d rather watch his actions to see if he’s willing to go out of his way and do everything it takes to atone. And avoiding manga spoilers, he doesn’t really do that. He has to be forced to atone further. His heart may be in the right place, but I can’t put a lot of weight behind his promise when he hasn’t done nearly enough as his promise entailed.
Holy shit Endeavor's power output! Remember in "Heroes Rising," it took Deku AND Bakugo with One For All to break through Nine's copy of Air Shield, and Endeavor broke through AFO's copy by himself. 😮
Eri's quirk simply rewinds. The idea behind the bullets is that they were chemically altered to only rewind your DNA back to before humans had quirks. It doesn't really make any sense how Overhaul managed to pull that off tbh. But that aside All for One could use the bullet to get a hold of Eri's quirk. We don't know if he can use it permanently now or just one time by injecting the bullet and neither does he. For all he knows he could rewind to a fetus in 10 seconds or it could revert him back to his absolute prime condition for a few minutes. It's a big gamble

of course the villain will use eri's quirk we the viewers been thinking about how the hero can use eri's quirk after the battle but i guess all for one was thinking the same thing
New Ost, Brilliant Animation, Endeavor Focus. Allround treat for me. I know there is a major demograph that hates Endeavor no matter what and idgaf people. Its Endeavor all day all time! 🔥🧡💥🌟🤩
So this is part of my issue with this show. There is nothing really at stake...at least IMO. As long as the heroes have Eri in their back pocket everyone will be fine. At least in theory. She has the power to not only rewind the body to a time before the quirks presented themselves, but also the power to rewind the physical body back to factory new settings. She is like a walking retcon. So all these heroes getting wounded and losing limbs are kind of irrelevant if she learns how to control that power. The same way (I'm assuming) Mirio got his powers back. Also if I am not mistaken the heroes have not really lost anybody (death) other than a bunch of side characters and the only 3 of any slight significance were Midnight (Didn't see it), Nighteye (only in a few episodes), and Star and Stripe (Only in 2 episodes). Please don't mention Crust or X-Less. lol In short, it really just feels like there is nothing at stake for the heroes, even though they are trying desperately to prove otherwise. Oh and that Toya vs Shoto fight left much to be desired. Very underwhelming conclusion there. Artwork, music and emotional beats were great, but the fight itself was (for lack of a better word at the moment) boring, especially for a "final battle". Still a good show, but they need to step it up quite a bit. Also I agree with others that Endeavor is one of the best written characters in the show, next to Shigaraki.
My theory, the bullet was reverted by AFO's scientist and he was given Eri's quirk (remember Overhauls gang got involved with shiggy) it was a last resort cause if he can't learn how to control it quickly after using it, he would have rewound into nothing. I have a HUGE feeling we are gonna see All Might in this arc. If Eri doesn't try to rewind him like Lemillion it would just be a massive plot hole in my opinion.
One for all is stockpiled energy. Monoma tried to copy OFA and failed to use it because the quirk is nothing without the power stored by the previous users. Even if All Might's body was reverted to its prime, he would be quirkless because OFA has been passed down to Deku, and his embers have been fully extinguished.
