After watching the video i subscribed and saw I'm the 156th sub, i definitely thought by the quality of video you would have had far more subs than that, nicely done!
Thanks man! I really appreciate that comment! Just started the channel a month or so ago but I'm super stoked to be at 150! Plenty of more adventures to come!
Right! Haha. I saw my buddies at trails offroad posted a kingston video today as well. I guess that's how it goes though. Hit what ya can when ya can while the passes are open. We have a bunch of telluride content coming up. And are planning a pearl, Taylor, tincup 2 day-er late sep. Lmk If yall wanna come out.
Nice video. Subscribed. I will have to try this soon. Getting skids next week. I usually stick to 3’s and Trails Offroad has this at a 4. Any comments on difficulty?
I think the 4 rating comes more from the shelf road aspect and the steepness of mailbox hill. In good weather I wouldn't hesitate to run it with a stock 4x4 with 4 low.
Or, like I did, you can run it in an '85 4Runner in 2-wheel drive. You kids are a bit too liberal with the whole shelf road callouts. No matter, you're having fun, you're weird, tread lightly!
@@trailsafari I don't know what you guys like, but Schofield Pass from Crested Butte to Marble is cool. Plus you could go see the Marble Mill and quarry at the end. Iconicaly Imogene Pass is a lot of folks favorite, but maybe that's a reason to hold off on it and do the lesser known runs. Mosquito Pass can be pretty interesting at times and it is the highest pass. You have to watch the calendar on this one too. Webster Pass is really decent too, and has a way to get to Redcone for added fun. I'd check them out for your desire to do them. Your vehicles are more than capable for these and really all Colorado trails, so have at it.
