Here is the last part of our Wyoming Overlanding Trip to the Wind River Range of Wyoming mountains. We leave Green River trail head and head up and over the mountains on Union Pass to Dubois. We talked with the Ranger Station in Pinedale to make sure that the pass was even open, and they called around and confirmed it was open a few days earlier.

Love that whole area. Yes, the trip from Green River up and over Union Pass is a slog for sure. Beautiful views and a fun drive though. Once on top it’s nice that the road chills out. Great video, makes us miss it!

For sure! Camping near Green River was absolutely beautiful! But man were the mosquitoes bad on the south side of the Wind River range! Road definitely did improve once we got to the top too.
