Basically a $32K tent with no internal storage for a cassette toilet ,clothes, etc. Not sure, as a shorter person, I'd even be able to set it up. Definitely a unique concept that may be just right for some people
It seems very complicated for something that's meant to bring convenience. Pricey, too. If I wanted this kind of covered space, maybe a 12x12 Gazelle gazebo would do just fine.
Great job demonstrating the features and how to put all the pieces together. Would have liked to see what it looked like from outside once fully expanded. x
This reminds me of my first “pop up”. It folded out much like this does, but the folded out areas became 2 beds. Not bad to put it up with 2 people, but a disaster with only one 5ft tall adult. Unfortunately I was widowed after only 3 times using it, so after struggling with it another season, it had to go. Thanks for the tour Patrick!
You did well. You didn't get too much out of breath. The compact design is amazing. A bit pricey. As a former tent and pop up camper myself, I don't think I'd be comfortable sleeping surrounded by canvas anymore.
Patrick, I enjoy your videos and the details you provide. I have to say on this one, I would have rather heard where you buy your cool socks than find out where to purchase a 32k tent. It seems way overpriced for its size and complexity.
Ha ha ha I love the people who are saying too complicated, too funny, rent a room. I like the concept, it gives me some home build DIY ideas. It could be twice as long and have two rooms without changing the set up time.
Very interesting tour. I like the compact-ability but am less impressed with the setup, unless you have other people with you to help. I assumed, because of the smaller footprint, it would be ideal for one person traveling alone, but that doesn't seem to have been the goal here. I also have to wonder what the solar table is for. Thanks for the tour.

I imagine pulling into my campsite in the pouring rain, I'd be sleeping in the truck that night,, next day too?... Or time to pack up in the rain, all that water getting folded up into the folds. then traveling to my next stop and the hot sun comes out?? molds. smells and headaches.
I’m going to be honest, I think it’s great that you are respectful to the company that created this. But I think that this company is trying to take advantage of people with their ridicules pricing. And for you to say it is a “this is a good example of a budget friendly camper”. You are now just as guilty of misleading your own audience. Shame on you!
Only 1800 pounds? That's almost 900kg! For "nothing" There's nothing in it except a shower for outside and a cool box and a cooker! And 32k for a bloody heavy expensive tent on wheels! ? And very hygienic driving a few hundred kilometres through the countryside, with rain, dirt and grime and then the dirty back is my table on which I eat. Which I then have to clean thoroughly, dry and disinfect?🤢 And when the table is fiddled in, you crawl under it and try to get to the cool box? 1000x prefer to convert a cargo trailer!😅
At this price point I would expect things like fenders I can step on and a cargo rack on the top just to name a few. I mean it’s a cool idea but it ain’t $34,000.00 cool. Budget friendly?

@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures while it's not for me (single, very mobile old lady), you did a great job demonstrating to us and there are use cases where it would be really great, and it also has the practical effects of being separate from the vehicle and light on gas use. Thanks for the excellent demo. I grew up in large family and best memories/expansive learning experiences are family camping where my parents had "work" like this to do, dad with mechanical things and mother with tiny kitchen situation so even though we could no way afford airplanes, restaurants, and hotels, we took vacations and built family history/memories, saw the oceans, the mountains, museums, and met cool people from all over. I have since stayed in some top resorts and flown business class and fine-dined, but those earlier camping experiences were in many ways better! Happy Fathers Day!
Damn! You can buy a 1600 pound Casita and have a REAL TRAILER! I wouldn’t want a contraption like that unless it was free… then I’d turn around and sell it. For the money Casita is the best trailer built. 🏕️😅😂
