Peter: I got one of THE collectors' items available. What I focus on: The fact that he's got to re-arrange rooms which means moving shelves and books and THAT is what's getting me excited. *lol* I'm like this at home as well. NOTHING is as satisfying as re-arranging the books on my shelves and re-arranging them between different rooms. *hides face*

I love that piece! That said, I could never justify the cost. I tell myself all the other collectibles I could purchase that are still high quality.....and go for several smaller pieces. Also, I go more for pieces that aren't as blatantly HP. I prefer nods to the franchise for me. Although that piece is beautiful and your parents are so thoughtful to get you such an amazing house warming gift. Congrats on home ownership!
