I've got a Mythos Mjolnir that I really like... but this hit different. More open, less compression, slightly different mids. But that's just me nitpicking... Both are great pedals. I just liked this one more 🙂
Ahh, maybe in post, yeah! A lot of the sound here is the amp... but that's kinda the point of a Klon. (I'm definitely curious to hear recs for a good cheap klone... It's a great sound, and I don't wanna spend $6k either, lol!)
@@RobFlaxMusicThere are videos all over the internet comparing it to other klons (including cheap chinese knock offs with no doubt very different circuitry) which sound identical or many arguably better. Iconically there are videos comparing it to unrelated much cheaper overdrives which come out negligibly different or better. Its snake oil. Often the best thing to look at is the competence of people proselytising an opinion. If its mostly people who cab barely play, which it tends to be with this flavour of nonsense then you know its safe to immediately discount it.
