lucky I watched this, I was cleaning out my mums old place and she kept all my stuff from when I was a child. I have legit a full shoe box of them. Have just checked about 10 cards while watching this and I have 2 with a first edition mark already...

At Japan in a restaurant, they allow you to choose something from a box full of toys, knickknacks, books, etc... I chose this really nice condition 1996 Pokémon Red solitaire card pack (there was another one in the box but with Pokémon Blue) and it was just solitaire with vintage Pokémon designs in the middle of the cards. When I moved from my old house, I saw the pack of cards and decided to trash them. One year later, I find out that they’re worth over $500. That restaurant gave me $500 and I threw $500 away.

I found my old pokemon set at my moms in a very well kept pokemon binder. They all look mint or near mint condition. Found 8 1st edition cards (including Charizard holo 1st edition). I also have 11 more charizard cards that aren't first edition but a couple holographic. It's about 230 cards lol time to do some researching and grading! So freaking stoked!!

I have 278 shadowless cards I DIDNT REALIZE THEY WERE SHADOWLESS

So my mom's boyfriend was addicted to Pokémon and he had thousands of cards. One day his dad came to him and said he needed to clean his room or the stuff on the floor would go to the trash, so he cleaned up his room and left the things that he doesn't really like in a pile on his floor. Reminder he only had half an hour to clean his room. So his dad came in 30 minutes later and went to look under his bed and found all the stuff he was going to keep. Then his dad threw away his ps1, his Nintendo 64 and even his Pokémon cards. Then he burned them. The next morning he was watching the news and there was a banned Pokémon card because of the symbol. They said they where selling those cards for over $23,000 dollars for it. And he turned to his dad, sobbing, and his dad asked why he was crying, he said, " I had three of those!!! **sobs more** and that is how we are so poor.

i have a charizard card which looks exactly the same but without the 1st edition symbol is it worth any money?.... and i also have another similar card which also doesn't have the 1st edition sign but the whole card is shining are these cards worth any money?

My son collected these back in the day he has complete base set and complete 1st edition team rocket deck plus super rare dark raichu. all mint, he was obsessive about putting them straight into sleeves then into binders. quite a few promo cards too from movies and stuff and some japanese ones. maybe ots time to get them out of the attic :D

I found a binder of my son's old cards in mint condition. One card is in Japanese, says Rocket Monsters on the back instead of Pokemon but the front is the same style as Pokemon, says 1996 Nintendo, picture of white horse galloping with fire behind. Any idea if this might be valuable?

I have a krabby that looks just like that but its German language. The language is the only difference, everything is still there. Will it still be the same? Example: irongrip is on original but mine is Eiserner Griff. Weird that I have one.

hey i have this pokemon cards deck which i bought back in 2015-16, it says "Pokemon XY FLASHFIRE" and it includes a few 'good-looking' cards like black kyurem, white kyurem, reshiram and a silver tranquill card. I don't know their significance, I don't even know how to play them lol.
