I think they accidentally set the odds to 1/10 instead of 1/100, because omg that beginning luck! 1/4 starters were shiny, 3/3 wild encounters were shiny. For a total of 57% shiny rate in the first two minutes. With 1/100 odds thats nearly impossible. Even with 1/10 odds its highly unlikely, but at least reasonable. Thusly i have concluded that they made an uh oh in the code.
