This video is about 30 Most Valuable Rare Old Stamps Of Austria.Collecting Austrian stamps has always been very popular with stamp collectors all over the World. First Austria stamps were issued on 1st June 1850. An imperforate issue of 5 different values proved popular amongst philatelists for the different types and shades. In 1854 a different paper was introduced. The postmarks found on these imperforated stamps are also of great interest. Some issues from 1867 - 1871 were for the entire Austro-Hungarian Empire. Collections of both countries can include the same stamps. During the 19th and early 20th Centuries the main area for philatelists is a wide range of perforation gauges and paper types.
