I am happy with my 2018 2.2L Ford Everest Titanium. Averaging at 9.7km/l in the City and when we are out of town or on a long trip, it gets close to 17km/l. Considering it is the biggest and heaviest midsize SUV. Just saying...

Should you also have to review the two Land Cruiser models since you have the records of the Expedition and the Patrol. The current Prado also has 2.8L engine option shared with the Fortuner. The new LC300 is already out in the wild. ✌️🙂

Sir Caco, I think the the price range of Mu-x (even the old one) is not 1.7m to 2.3m. It's the Everest that has that price range. The old Mu-x starts at 1.3m for the base model while the all-new Mu-x starts at 1.590m. I think the editor forgot to edit it. Thanks.
But the 1.9L RZ4E engine that is also available in this vehicle above is even more fuel efficient than the two with uncompromising durability and reliability.
Can you please feature a video of which car brand and/or car model are reliable in terms of maintenance (engine and interior/exterior). Which car brand and/or model have a high resell value in 3 years, 7 years and 10+ years. You have data for this since you have a website...

They are a car portal, which they should also include in their discussion the maintenance, not just car buying. They sell used cars in their website, so they have data which cars are reliable, common issues, resell value, etc...

The question is, how frequent are you going to do maintenance, how much are you going to pay, are the issues major/minor. Not all brands are equal in terms of quality. You'd be surprise that some luxury brands are outperformed by other brands in terms of engine quality, vehicle service life and resell value. That's what I wanted to be featured by Autodeal. An in-depth review of cars and/or brands, not just a spec check and/or comparison. All that specs they say (no offense) are already in the brochure. Why not include KIA Sorento 2.2L turbo charge power house...the underrated, low profile but good performing mid size suv...at least it puts up a 200 KPH on highway that pulls away from almost all SUVs available in the market.
The 2.5 Chevvy Trailblazer MT does a better efficiency. Base on experience it was able to do 8.6km/L on the city and was able to push it at 17.4km/L on the highway ✌️✌️✌️

You should understand that Sir Caco was still in his introduction, and was pertaining to the usual SUVs present in our market. It was then after where he clarified the rules and conditions for how they come up with the points of these SUVs, and there were no mentions which limited the list only to turbodiesel SUVs. Also, I was surprised that you forgot to mention the Expedition and Patrol Royale if you were really confused as to what the list of SUVs was consisted of. Anyways, I hope you find this helpful!
@@Darkromance23 Well, a crossover is still considered an SUV. It's just that it is on a smaller segment, typically, and is on a different platform which is the unibody chassis similar to sedans, and what sir Caco mentioned is the exclusion of unibody chassis. Take the ford explorer for example, I doubt if you'd labeled that as a crossover.
Hindi ba same ang engine ng Hilux at Fortuner? Toyota Hilux didn't make it even 2nd place in the pick up comparo when it comes to fuel efficiency... As far as I can remember...

Its a common sense why would you? Force an heavy,offroad big bulk engine to be a fuel efficient. As if a 5.0 Liter engine would do 20km/L on the city driving
Hi Caco, I am looking for a car that will last me for many years. I’ve been doing some homework and based on your review, I am kind of leaning toward the Ford Everest (to give you an idea of the type of vehicle I am looking for) mostly for the ride quality (Wife's requirement). My wife is a Filipina and she is reluctant to go back after becoming a US Citizen and living here for the majority of her life. The Philippines was my first duty base in the Air Force and I want to Retire and live out the remainder of my life over there. I will be retiring in 4 - 6 months and will start getting rid of everything for the transition. I will be looking to buy a new car when we arrive. I’ve been out of touch on cars as I currently drive an Electric Car. Here is my wish list: SUV Automatic Trans Pwr windows and Locks - Keyless Entry - would be nice if a phone app could communicate with the vehicle. A/C 5 seats Premium sound Adaptive Cruise Control Must have a comfortable ride for the passengers Prefer Gas (Wife does not like Diesel - Smell) Need some good reasons to try to convince her if this one is best. How is the availability of fuel if we opt to travel in the PI? Map Program 4X4 Could you give me some suggestions and reasons why we should go with Diesel over Gas? What is the availability of Electric Cars and recharging? What options would I have for an electric car? Looking forward to working with you. Ken B
For the SUV that uses gas, I suggest the Geely Okavango, Changan Cs75, MG HS/ZS Suzuki Jimny 5door, or Chery Tiggo 5x Hybrid (gas and electric). Chinese brand cars have way better interior and features. But the Xpander, Veloz, and Rush are good for the money. For the electric cars, unfortunately the only thing i am able to find decent in the philippines would be the BYD Dolphin. For fuel efficiency, I highly suggest the Chery Tiggo 5x Hybrid.
