@@xdgiih766 that means less range and a heavier weight which would probably limit the ordnance it could carry, therefore defeating the point of it being a subsonic light attack aircraft.

The right settings help a lot for MCLOS, I think i might have copied Hunter's control settings for them at some point. Immediately went from not being able to use them at all to being able to target which part of the tank i want to hit.

Its sad that USA doesnt have one of the improved ones as a premium. Currently no good premium CAS or Helis at 8.0-9.7

@@Sapphire_North I don’t think you really understand how jet engines work. Adding afterburners isn’t some ginormous, complex addition to an engine. The added weight is insignificant. And sure, there would be increase fuel consumption, but that’s why pilots only use it when needed. During daytime missions, pilots would hit the afterburners coming off target for increased speed and decrease chances of being hit by AAA.

Maybe you are right, but man they need to tune it down even if it was realistic ..

I didn't feel so much difference when tested Bullpup after La Royale, still effective.

I think the main issue is the graphical change to the smoke trail left behind makes it very difficult to see the missile after launch.

@@Deus1929 That's correct, it is harder to see the missile now, with no TV sight launch it at 2km target, but with TV sight you can still launch it from 10km.

Man Nords have been trash for a while now, I've hit tanks directly on the roof and not done any significant damage more times than i can count. At least bullpups delete everything they touch

Yeah, that's up to preference .. I didn't say this plane is the best, I said it is the most fun because guiding Bullpup manually is more fun than Maverick, I mean more satisfying, to me at least.

@@Hunter_i86 actually I prefer the Walleye ER. The missiles are so difficult to use. I don't have many flightHrs and practice such as you (it shows in your use of the bullpup). The Walleye are a guaranteed kill mostly and sometimes even multiple targets. (Strangely... I almost never hit with the GBU8)

I believe it's the TWS (Track While Scan) from friendly/enemy jets that ping you while scanning. Typically mostly used by F-14s, but I've started using it on the MiG-29.

I played a half and hour battle in air sim EC .. literally the entire battle RWR didn't shut up.

I don’t think it’s a bug since the radar searches close to the enemy aircraft when locked and you might be in that cone if you’re close to that enemy or behind it

@@Hunter_i86 Thanks a lot. I liked the idea of using TV bombs to target missiles. I changed my 1920*1080p monitor to 3440*1440 for aim bullpups. Its look like pixel hunting😅🙈

It is technically possible but hard. Strela's 9M37M can be flared like normal missiles, the tricky part however is making them see the flare in the first place as it only has a 0.5 degree fov once locked. So from the rear aspect and front aspect it can be flared more easily, from the side aspect it nearly is unflareable, especially at closer ranges. Stingers, and other manpads similar to it, have the exact same problem as mentioned before with an extra way to ignore flares. So when it sees a flare, instead of tracking it, it just ignores it and continues flying using inertial tracking (it flies to the predicted path you'll be at) until the flare leaves its FOV, at which point it resumes tracking you. So the trick with missiles with "ECCM" (though it should be called IRCCM) is to dump a lot of flares to make sure the missile guides on inertial tracking while changing direction and then pray that the missile doesn't reacquire you after. It just requires a ton of flares to exploit this weakness, which most planes might not have enough of to do this more than once.

No, definitely no lol .. I mean manual guiding of Bullpups is more fun and satisfying than Mavericks.

Chaff is useless since ages lol, now flares work great against IRST lock though.

@@Hunter_i86 Well for the mirage was chaff its biggest enemy cuz they just chaffed 1 time and my radar lock was off but now its great sometimes its still locks onto chaff but my missle just goes after the plane lol
