@@MrGMottas Sadly yes... Of all healers hpala is by far the most fun to me, but the ease I had to get my monk to 3k really shows how gutted Hpala is. Lets hope they buff him for s4
If they give evoker more range I'll stay on them. But I have had way to many runs with ranged players who are more focused on avoiding my heals than avoiding the enemies swirls, so I'm out, if the range stay the same. Pala was my main from last season of bfa until this season, so if blizzard fix them, I'll most likely go back to pala. As it is right now, I'll go druid or monk, whatever fits my premade the most.
When I look at Holy Paladin, all I can think of is: "Look how they massacred my boy". With the rise of Retri Paladins and Prot Paladins being a really good tank, I don't see Holy Paladins being META in the next patch.
@@threshcan6347 I honestly prefered the S2 tier set. It had nothing to do with how OP the rework was, I pushed to my season goals way before 10.1.5. The class severily severly lacks spot healing. 80% on crits for HS is pretty good considering both rising sunlight and divine toll are essentially holy shocks. The ability now feels good, but WoG and LoD doesnt since they werent buffed in S3 nor in S4 in any way.
@@Coudeboos I agree. I’d rather have chain harvest over vesper totem. They can even add a cooldown deduction from your flameshock’s DoTs crits like they had in Shadowlands.
I have 3 major issues with how Holy Paladin is atm. 1) HP spenders don't move bars and cost mana. They need to buff them by 20% and remove the mana cost. 2) Too much shit revolves around GoL. If that's what they want, then why is DT a talent and so deep in the class tree? 3) IoL. I don't understand why they cant figure out a way to make IoL useful to the melee build.
I think Infusion procs should give you an instant cast of Flash of Light, instead of reducing mana cost. This would give us reason to spend them and remove the dreaded caster playstyle from Hpal while still keeping the mana cost would require us to make decisions whether we can afford spending infusions or not. They also need to straight up double the healing of Holy shock, and buff spenders by at least 20% as you said.
Been a Pres main since I first tried it in S2. Getting the S1 tier set will be fun for me because I didn't play S1 it will be like getting a brand new tier set. I know a lot of people don't like the Dracthyr race or the range of Pres spec but neither really bother me too much. I have said a number of times that I think a fair trade off for the range would be to simply make Echo, Living Flame and Spiritbloom 40 yard range and keep the other spells as they are. As for Dracthyr It would be cool to have some more body types and better Visage/Mog options.
I looove disc so much, but its not fun pugging😅 Ill be maining Holy priest s4 and im avtually very exited about it cuz i havent played it since bfa and man it has changed alot :) Also....id like to see them just turn augmentation into a Tank or smthing, and rather keep working on support classes and revisit it at a later point...🙈 Awsome video Mad, ur the King 😊👌
Been maining Disc for this season but has swapped now after the mini rework on holy. Might just be the honeymoon phase, but its nice to just react to dmg instead of beeing proactive especially with pugs
I wished Blizzard would not recycle abilities between specs. Like Resto shaman, I would like attacking abilities to be water based, not an elemental shaman that can heal.
Mistweaver again for me, resto shaman and holy pallies are huge mana sinks and evokers have awful range. Priests have no interrupt, and Druids are hot dog water in raids.
LOVE druid in m+ (also always been my main) probably going mistweaver for our raids this season :) other than that I try to play a little on all healers. Thanks for good content
I stopped playing as healer in the Cataclysm expansion, and I started again in the season 3 as shaman, I miss a little bit be there only for heal, it is still so confuse for me that a healer needs to dps, so I stopped again playing as healer and I am playing as dps only. Btw, it was so hard to heal as shaman, sometimes I was spamming chain heal and the life was not going up.
I play my 487 Holy paladin and even struggle, then I go to my 484 Shaman/evoker/holyP/MW and it's laughable how uncomfortable Pally feels, I'm going Rsham or Holy priest for S4.
Holy Pala now feels like it has bad damage and it’s big cds don’t feel like they have a big impact when you hit them. I will probably play Mistweaver and disc.
Too true about Evoker, it feels so modern and smooth to play. However, the dracthyr model is weird and I don't like the animations. I literally pulled up a list of toys to change my appearance. I forget if Prisms and Skymirror work in combat but orb of deception/sin'dorei and many other items do.
Have very similar thoughts with presevation, the range has turned me off the spec so much when doing m+ content feels bad not having your heals hit your group because you have 2 ranged standing back. But if they fixed that it really is the most healer to me, but I would also need a way to not be in drathyr form, maybe let evokers be in the human form would be nice. Really enjoyed the video hoping for some Hpal changes soon.
Idk what u all have with those range limitations if u play your positioning proberly, its not Hard i am sitting at 3.6k io rn yeah sure u got some dumb fucks that stand Anywhere on the map then just tell them to stand close to you and if he doesnt listen just let him die Because then he is going to stand closer Cause hes a little dps whore and if hes dead he cant do dps
holy paladin need tuning for sure but im bet my life they not gonna do anything about it.since when they made hpal in mid range? the answear is never just like disc priest.they are always either really good or really bad.
Resto Druid in raids = pure dogshit. It feels so clunky and awful. I go oom every fight and can't even compete in terms of HPS and this is after the rejuv bufffs lmao. The major issue with Grove Guardians is that Blizzard has them labeled as totems yet they didn't provide us with a form of totemic placement or a way to move them so we get grove guardians that get kited by tanks and line of sighted. Either make them work correctly or give Druids the ability to manually move them.
The function of grove guardians is why it’s so bad for raids. Your grove guardians do more healing when you make them heal someone with a lot of HoT’s.. the problem is that’s usually a tank and other healers also pump into tanks so it usually translates to a lot of overhealing and doesn’t do much for our HPS and having to keep a lot of HoT’s up for grove guardians just completely drains our mana pool. R Druid probably the worst raid healer for season 4 just like season 3. My 475 holy priest can out heal my guild’s 485 rdruid on almost every fight in heroic lol
my thing with grove guardians is that theyre just ugly lmao. Let us customise them or something they look silly maybe butterflies or fae dragon things etc would be nice they just look silly spamming spells
Resto Shaman, ride or die. MW was always my second until pres came out. It's back to being my second now that it feels fun again, which for me was when they fixed the mana issues. Still like pres, I just don't have the muscle memory that I have with other healers yet.
Great video, my opinion: A-Sham- I lost interest in cloudburst totem because it doesn't feel that impactful in smaller groups and I prefer riptide build. Along with the new additional CDs that came with dragonflight, a strong HStream totem is fine. Kinda feels like Grove guardians for heavy rot damage prep. and is also proactive which cloudburst is for anyway, due to the 2 charges. They need to make Healing Rain instant and fix the talent issues not stacking with one another, ie. Master of elements/Deluge. A-HPriest- Love it but the lack of control is frustrating. That being said throwing down an aoe heal on affi ghosts and clearing both instantly feels great. Damage rotation feels tight and cd reduction with apoth on chastise feels like I'm a dps. Also a great raid spec but suffers from similar cd usage in all fights due to needing to pop and reduce. C-Disc- I used to main disc. I dunno disc feels less than still from that amazing season 2 instant stacking radiance. I never minded the ramp but agree for raid it was excessive. Feels better in raid D-HPal- feels like heal ankle biting and just needs a boost along with deleting seasons. I would actually rate Hpal way higher in raid and competing for the top spot whereas Mistweaver I'd put toward the bottom (if it weren't for those amazing movement and defensives) A-Mistweaver- feels OP for the amount of effort needed, frustrating with positioning like you said. Stale in raids with yu'lon build. A-Preservation- I get frustrated like you said, with positioning. That alone is a type of stress that immediate kills it for me because I cannot always control what's happening. B-Resto druid feels kinda clunky to be especially with suncallers being BiS along with lifebloom/efflo maintenace Healing/Damage (Fun not considered) Teir list - S-Druid,MW A-Priest,Sham B-Pres,HPal
I dont care about Meta still gonna play my Holy Paladin - it need desperate changes but im in too deep on mah boy. But other than that Restro Shams are so underrated you are the ONLY youtuber/streamer that really gives them love. For example Jack was talking so much BS about them think hes sadge that his priest arent get invites because of SHadow meta
My resto shaman is 2950 and my holy priest is 2900. Shaman is more fun imo because of the utility. I feel like I can contribute more with interrupts, stuns, cc, etc. Though, doing 145k overall on my holy priest is pretty fun too.
The playstyle was fun in the past but they had to try and repair something that wasn't broken. They just had to tune numbers. They have always been very good at pure HPS thi so I can imagine it's not that easy. Problem is... They are going to make it even harder with how hero talents work ...
Hpal was the pinnacle of reworks, and they butchered it completely. Unless they significantly change Hpal and revert back out of this hybrid caster/melee playstyle and make it have TWO viable builds for 2 different styles of play, I won't be back for season 4. There is no reason to have a hybrid build only, literally make caster viable and melee viable on there own right. There is enough room in the talent tree to have 2-3 viable builds one for each playstyle.
Bring back cata/mists Hpal and/ or bfa /shadowlands glimmer Hpal and it's a fat W. I'm more in the cata/mists camp but i know alot of ppl love their glimmers.
Honestly I don't see enough Evokers being played to remember that they are a thing. I had to remember that they actually came out in this expansion. Not trying to be mean to Evoker players. I actually forget about them. That means that Blizzard needs to make some fun changes to them so they are played more.
Hpal needs changes. The rework is a mess and easily the worst rework in all of DF, specially compared to Ret or the likes of Discipline Priest,DH and Rogue reworks. Talents currently appeal to too many playstyles and none are in a good place. Holy power is irrelevant and both mana/dps needs to be looked at. Too many nerfs, in too many places. The fact that the spec is nearly non existant and has one of the worst raid playstyles ignoring its main mechanic has been an issue for too long now.
I would play holy paladin if avenging crusader was viable. But the melee version of the spec currently is just too clunky for me. Half my abilities are macros so that it feels somewhat smooth to play and I don’t need to constantly manually switch targets between enemies and allies. Monk feels much better as a melee healer. Paladin needs more work. Resto shaman will be my main for s4 and I am a healing stream enjoyer. It’s just a simple yet versatile spec with great output and lots of utility. I also enjoy that everything can be done from range.
Know it's been a few weeks, but as someone who had the same issue: Mouse over macros. Set your frames up properly and just use mouseover macros to heal. Lets you target whatever you want to while healing whatever you want to without having to change your target unless you want to for some reason.
I love how evokers look but the way they run looks so dumb 😭 Tbh they need to run similar to worgen where they run like they're about to pounce or attack. They also need to let you transmog more stuff

As a shaman main, one of things that frustrates me is we have used the same build in keys in raid throughout the whole expansion, both of which is just being a chainheal bot. It becomes a little disheartening when we don't recieve tier or even talent adjustments in an attempt to make other builds viable or just something to spice the spec up
@@plupadux4074 I do run that one too. I remember someone asking him on stream. He said its not as strong throughput wise but it makes you a ton more mana efficient. But its also requires better play too since you dont have a good spammable way to do aoe healing
Can anyone tell me what makes Holy Priest struggle in higher keys? I haven't went over +20 since S1 on my RDruid and I was thinking about playimg HPriest for s4 and pushing keys
Personally I am not agree with you in terms of Holy Priest... I was forever druid healer and I got thepoint to be bored, when I am playing now my holy priest I don't have to worry more on healing hardcasts and/or when someone needs a big burst healing... with resto druid I was suffering a lot in high keys, and with my holy priest I do more dps than with my druid. You shpuld place holy priest much higher than Disc priest 100% sure.
Last season you seemed unhappy that your guild wanted you to play Holy Paladin; for this season my guild wants me to play Holy Paladin, am I in for a bad time?
As a resto druid main i hate the tier set and GGs . I am so use to ramping and being rewarded for ramping properlly now its spam regrowth and ggs to stay in tree longer and spam more regrowths. rejuv has nearly become useless
So glad I'm not the only one thinking presvoker is fun to play but being held back by range... among other things. I keep posting it in the forums and I'm met with people who think it's a "skill issue" and that I should just "git gud" or something. I would love for more people to play the spec, but the current evoker playerbase seems to be augvoker fanboys that A-okay with everything they have. Tbf, why wouldn't they? They are either in "S" or "A" tier for raid and Mythic +. I can't wait for them to get nerfed again.
Oh darn, this is so sad... RIP Hpala! I remember the meca runs as Hpala, so mutch fun!! Maybe they will return in year 2034 as a competative meta healer. TBH MW monk deservs to be meta, blizzard forgot them for 1 whole expansion(if not more) :)
The only melee healer I enjoyed was HPal. And they really fked that spec over. MW just feels too goofy for me. Silly stances, ridiculous animations, came out when Blizzard was pandering hard to China. Just eurgh, cant enjoy. And those damn lizard bois feels like playing JarJar Binks
16 years of maining hpal gone for season 4… thanks blizzard for not knowing how to balance correctly. At this point just remove Hpal and stop making fun of them 😭
I don't understand your takes on resto shaman. You say the class needs complexity but yet you and most of the resto shaman community voted for the least complex, least interactive tier set for season 4. Makes no sense. I don't understand why in the past you have said the S3 tier set is a failure when it adds more complexity to the class. You have said it doesn't work, but for me the only part that hasn't worked about it is that Tidal Reservoir's numbers were too low. Well look what they did with the S1 tier set bonus, they increased the numbers on it. Probably would have done that with the S3 set bonus too, but its too late now. I just don't understand how you can say the class needs more complexity but then vote for the S1 set bonus. Even S2 had more complexity. The inconsistency is infuriating.
Complexity does not always mean fun if it's not done right. I think the S1 tier set won because people were not a fan of how other sets made you play and not the complexity of the design. Either way I would have been happy if S2 tier set won also
