I don't know if on a scale of 1 to 10 if LeBron is hated the most but he's hated by the most people because of his relevancy and the longevity of his relevancy. And his rivals of debate are some of the most beloved of all time Jordan, Kobe and Steph.
@@Real_Mambo Besides Draymond Green most put him in top 10-15 which is fair due to his longevity and accomplishments. Hes just not anywhere near GOAT level.
Should be titled most hated players in the past 10 years. Doesn't include Bill Lambier, Rodman, Bird, Vernon Maxwell, X McDaniels, Ron Artest etc. Even Reggie Miller and Vlade were pretty hated by a lot of fans outside of the city they played for.
You can add to the list Bruce "Karate Kid" Bowen, Kobe (lost several MVPs because he was so hated in the mid 00's), Sheed, Marbury, Andrew "bowling" Bynum, Kevin Garnett, Isiah Thomas, Danny Ainge & Rick Berry.
Why is Vlade hated? Miller I know but Vlade is universally loved in his country and whenever he played. Only some time ago I heard his former opponents talking about how he is a "flopper". Which I found surprising.
The league is committed to an extremely strong anti-racism stance. It's impossible for them to let one of their most high-profile players share his anti-semitic views publicly, especially when Kyrie was playing in New York, the city with the most Jews in the world. It's not about being offended, it's about being morally consistent.
I have followed the NBA since the 70's and I have never had more disdain for a top player than Kyrie. Harden is a close second though. Although Simmons gives Harden a run at the 2 spot.
I guess you don't have clips of Patrick Beverly, Rick Barry, Ron Artest, Isiah Thomas, Mo Lucas & Bill Laimbeer? Kareem was pretty hated himself, even by Lakers fans, for sucker punching. The only reason I can see why they hate Kyrie is his desire to play elsewhere; the other reasons are dumb, like Flat Earther, refusing the jab (which we now know does not prevent the big "C", or the transmission of the virus). He's a great player that just needs the right fit. I think he's a pretty nice guy, and a clean player.
Lack of humility coining the flopping Era constantly begging for his flowers basically the first dude to start superteams abandoned his home team the cavaliers and didn't come back till they had a promising kyrie on the team yet somehow still took credit for singlehandedly leading the cavaliers to their first championship
@@mylordsarentino4402 first three wtf you even talking about, there were superteams before him, yeah he didnt come back until he had teammates and had a shot at winning there, and he was by far the most important part of them winning
@crystalizedExposed bro started the flopping Era. He has a lack of humility constantly calling himself the king yet always has excuses made for him or makes them himself yall remember that time he lost a match and blamed it on a broken finger but was playing fine with it the whole time. And yes it is about winning 🤡 still doesn't change the fact he left his team in the dirt waited till they got good then came back and took all the credit for it
If that is to be said, then LeBron James must be overrated. You can't be hated and then be the best player in the world so the only conclusion is that why people saying what they say is because LeBron James is overrated , you can't have it both ways
Nice conclusion sir but that's not the case, people hate him because of those old heads who are threatened that LeBron might take over Jordan as the GOAT, we know debates you have to slander the other guy for you to prove the point that your guy is better so they are pushing naratives like LeBron ain't clutch or he doesn't have the killer mentality like Jordan or some stupid takes from Skip and other old heads in the media, and you know human there are some who will belive it but he's not overated he might not be the goat but he's #2 all time for sure he managed to get 4 rings without even beeing in a stable franchise like almost all of the all time greats no.1 in scoring all time top 5 assist all time during hes prime he is a DOY candidate witch is rare for someone who has an all around offense not to mention MVP's All Star selection about to have the most in the history next season, All NBA and tons of records that he had broken so name me a player who has done what he's done then if you manage to name one yeah he might be overated.
@@SophialoraineEUedaThats definitely not the main reason. Many basketball fans loved Lebron back in Cleveland since he was drafted all the way till the 2009-2010. Lebron became the biggest villian/hatest/unlikable athlete since the Decision to play in Miami with D-Wade, also throw in the fact that Lebron flat out cost D-Wade Finals MVP in 2011 and D-Wade had to sacrifice his Batman role to Lebron moving forward. Lebron having total control of the team (that didn't work in Miami which is why he left to go back to Cleveland), and Lebron acts like a selfish premadonna, I can't be the only person who thinks that.
Oh he is overrated alright. But not because he is hated. He just isnt that good to even pass guys like Kobe or Duncan. He needed 4 superteams where he always needed others(Wade, Allen, Kyrie, AD) to get him through the Finals. Kobe is also doubted because Shaq was so great when they won 3peat(and Lakers were heavily pushed but that is another story) but you could never doubt Kobe as he won 2 rings with practically no help of All Stars. Michael needed some help but you never doubted Michael is the GOAT because he would always be the best. Not only in his team but in all NBA. People loved him despite his flaws. But LeBron really cant cut it on his own without somebody who would rise above him so he can win. Even needed Kobe for USA before he won gold. That is why after he retires all this GOAT nonsence stops. All Nick Wrights and kids who believe frauds like him stop. Because nobody will talk about him anymore. I dare to say Steph if he wins another one has more merit in that talk then him.
Lbj is most hated player in sports history because A) majority haters are just jealous of his HOF success calling overrated B) he talks politics which drew a bigger hate base C) arguably the greatest player of all time ( depends who u asking, I ain’t here for the debate) if not top 2 at least which wlll make his haters pissed While his minions scrambled to defend him
Cavs beating the GSW in the finals was not even close to being the greatest win in history. Cavs had a stacked team and the GSW did not even have Kevin Durant and the previous year when they won the championship, most NBA fans claimed the GSW were lucky. Dallas Mavs with only one superstar beating Miami Heat (3 superstars and a bunch of very good players) is one of the greatest underdog win ever. Detroit Pistons beating Lakers is one of the greatest underdog win ever. Tim Duncan carrying the Spurs without an superstar that year and prevented the Lakers from a 4-peat was one of the greatest win in history.
yea you crazy. the cavs were not stacked. the GSWjust won 73 games wtf are you talking about they already had 3 arguable superstars. kyrie nor love were superstars or even stars at that point in their careers. the heat never had 3 superstars. bosh was never a true superstar he just played well on a bad team just like love. he was a great player no question but no superstar. also no the heat had horrible role players and that was heavily apparent. i can give you the duncan one
@@seagull2175 you just don't watch basketball. He's hated for one being in contention to pass Jordan and two for him leaving the Cavs in 2010. He flops because that's just how the league is. The league flops to gain calls so everyone does it for an advantage. No different from curry jumping into his defender for a foul it works so why not abuse it. If LeBron played in the 80s or 90s he wouldn't do that since it has no benefit and wouldn't work. It's just understanding and using the game to your advantage
@@GetCaughtLacking I guy who’s 6’9 and 265 pounds should stand up straight. If it was a kid with a disability then I would be okay with it, but if it’s “the greatest nba player of all time” doing it, then he should be hated.
I agree on Harden but LeBron gets more hate than love and we all know it because if you say you like LeBron or say anything positive about LeBron even if he's not your favourite player they will call you a Bronsexual.
