Stayed in Avebury a few months ago. This the only pub in town, and the kitchen was closed for renovations the only two days we're there. Damn it! No problem getting a few pints, though. Cool place for beer, at least. Had to walk to Waggon and Horses down the way in Beckhampton for dinner. Nice pub, that one.
Evette seems very theatrical/comfident when doing the segment filmings, but during the investigations she gets freaked by the slightest noise ...... Either she needs to buck up and actually act normally during theinvestigations or find a differant job
Most Haunted...you are great. I have followed your shows for years and got all your DvD`s. I have been to Avebury a few times and them chandelliers really moved ...I couldn`t belive my eyes. In August me and my friends came back and tryed the KII meter, it was absolutly brilliant. We belive Flori was comunicating with us. She responded to every question. Winged Pharaoh, by Joan Grant. Her past-life self saw A-vey-bury as being within a ring of standing stones. They were plastered with mud walls and covered with a thatch roof, for a huge, temporary " temple" at certain seasons. No woner the area is haunted, if true.
I’ve been to this pub and was in a ghost encounter, sat by the fireplace in the main restaurant and suddenly I turned cold, I told my aunt she thought I was playing a game on her so we switched places and she felt it too, quite fun actually.
I didnt live far from there so used to go there every weekend with family, walk the dogs around the stones and then we'd have lunch in the pub when growing up!! Constantly i'd be staring down that well looking for Flori hehe

The original episode was edited down to a 25 minute edition. Living TV for their first series wouldn't commit to a full one hour episode of the show. However after the instant success of series one, along with the huge successes of Most Haunted Live Halloween 2002 and Christmas 2002, Living TV permitted the full one hour version (average 43-46 minutes without adverts) to be the regular format from Series 2 onward.
Am going to Avebury next time see if i can catch anything similar to what i caught two years in a row See Mystery orbs at Stonehenge 16.54 mins i caught Ghosts there as well.Please watch.Very spooky.
Stephen Criddle.....be interesting to know how you got on as most people (who know what they're doing) do find something at recognised hot-spots, The term 'supernatural manifestations' IMO should have the 'super' dropped & now be called just (opt' natural) manifestation of entities that pass through portals or doorways to a co-existing dimension, or similar

+Gretchluver1 This particular "Ghost Hunter" team are full of shit,one of them got sacked for being a fraud and the rest are just poop. I use to live in Calne just a few miles away and have visited the stones on many occasions. The only time I experienced any thing like "paranormal" was riding my motorbike out of Avebury to Calne. I became very frightened for some reason and my vision blurred,had to stop for a couple of minutes. Odd experience.
johnny leaf I never said I believed in the paranormal. To be frank, I don't. All I was saying is that if one's going to fake some paranormal experiences, at least make them tangible and credible. The ghost of a jumping man is just silly, not credible, even if the very notion of ghosts was credible. Of course, Katelyn could have meant to say "my dads friend got told to stand up stairs and jump on the floor up the floor to make it SOUND like there is a ghost" and that would be more logical.
Good memories. I drank there in about '76 on our way south to the (then yearly) Stonehenge Summer Solstice Music Festival where then landlord refused to serve our second round because we were "dressed inappropriately for his premises" (jeans & not ridiculously long hair!) we could drink them outside in he said & it was sodding down, we tipped our 2 tables upside down & left. Tho we hadn't really damaged anything, the Police caught up with us but let us go after finding nothing to screw us on, no drugs, landlord didn't push for charges but reported us as being "loud & insulting drugged up rabble" or similar. but we were not either (you could buy anything imaginable on site, once there) they let us go after names got taken 30 odd minutes later, despite those pigs trying to antagonise us into anything they could nick us for. I did not like the townspeople, or their pig-filth. Great days indeed
I have watched some of your videos stephen and very good evidence did you capture any evp just use your voice recorder on your phone to capture evps works for me no need for fancy portable voice recorders
