I suspect it to be worn out clutch with what you have said. More feels like a bad valve job done. Suggest to do a compression test before spending on a new clutch. Also, hold rear brake tight, put in 1sr gear and accelerate moderatly and rlease the clutch. If the bike doesnt turn off and rpm keeps rising, that is a worn out clutch. Otherwise, should be incorrectly seated valve.
