The most significant and frequently used Spanish words can be learned in English. This video will help you learn the 500 most crucial words in Spanish and their meanings, along with their pronunciations and pictures.
It’s backwards if you think of the first word being a question and the second word being the answer. It should be the English word first so the listener can respond with a Spanish answer! THINK!! This is after all a lesson to learn Spanish NOT English ❤
I wish similar words were placed next to each other, that way we could compare and contrast the sounds of the similar words. I do like the lesson very much.
I am learning spanish and because you are very helpful and i guessed 2 spanish words on my own with my mom THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your video. I study Spanish everyday. It is very, very important to me. Would you please make it so that your video can be saved. I like to save my Spanish videos in RU-vid. So that I can go back and watch it later. Thank you!!
At 20:19 vivir should be live (with a short 'i'), meaning "estar vivo." The reader pronounces it "leave." BIG MISTAKE. In Spanish "leave" would be salir. Just noticed that the picture is wrong too. It shows a family waving goodbye to someone. At 43:35 reader pronounces "proteger" as "protegar."
Putting the English translation after the Spanish words works on screen, and may be better for testing what we remember already, but for solo listen and learn most brains will perceive the explanation after what is already known. I believe this video is better for learning English from Spanish, or one has to watch while listening.
I disagree, I find the Spanish word first allows you to test your knowledge. It's like a test. Like flash cards. You hear the Spanish word, try to remember the English word before you hear the correct answer. I studied all through school this way. I wouldn't like it the other way, because you don't get to try to think about it you are told an answer before a question it makes no sense in that fashion. Just my opinion and many others in this comment section.
This may have been mentioned already buy others, but when learning vocabulary, I prefer the English word first and then the Spanish one. For example, "house --la case." Great video. I want to listen to it over and over. Superb and clear pronunciation. Thanks so much.
I am commenting about my post above so please allow me to do so. Again, this video is excellent and I intend to spend a lot of time trying to learn these 500 valuable words in Spanish. I noticed I had an embarrassing typo in my post and I'd like to correct that. I wrote "buy" where I obviously meant "by" so please excuse me. The best to all of you.
Can you do a few videos like this without speaking the English translations. We know how to read in English. We learn faster if we only hear the worlds in Spanish. When you learn a phrase in Spanis, you make a movie in your head with you being moved by a emotion or something ( it is not easy) and attach the sound the Spanish sound of the phrase. The moment the sound is pronounced in Englis the brain attached the English version to the clip, because is easy and familiar and all the work you do to remember the Spanish version is lost
You should put the article in front of the Spanish nouns! Much easier for English people to get used to and learn that big difference between Spanish and English immediately 🤷♀️
Give us el or la. A few years into my studies i never want to learn nouns without gender. I've had to go back and learn my nouns again because I found myself in conversations forgetting this. It's a bit embarrassing. Everybody who sees this, never learn nouns without the article. You will thank me later.
Esta noche is this night which means tonight. That is a better translation. And the verbs need a lot more. And manana can be morning or tomorrow. manana por la manana is tomorrow morning.
I saw between me and my classmate, there was this circular shape of shield although it was transparent. I stopped right away. But when I look into buying a house. that was a big one with joyful gladness of exceed result. That the house was there for me since a long time ago. It is mine.
Just showing these words by themself doesn’t make much sense. These words should be put into chunks, small sentences. The word “to hide” is Esconder (as you have written in this video). However, if I were to say, “ go hide in the backyard”, it would be “ve a ESCONDERTE en el patio trasero”. “ HIDE the surprise in the closet” “ESCONDE la sorpresa en el armario”
But we must understand that this tutorial is Spanish Vocabulary for beginners, NOT sentence structures, grammar, moods, verb conjugations for advanced learners. In order to achieve their goal, the instructors concentrate on a simple presentation with a Spanish word and an English definition. The pronunciation is crystal clear and each illustration is very helpful as a visual aid for memorization. I have learned a lot from this tutorial - and I am an intermediate learner. Good job BCT!
Mañana = tomorrow / morning Tarde = afternoon (not evening = night!) Viejo = old but just male and you are showing a picture of a female? Would be Vieja! Querer = like (pretty unpolite for want) Comenzar = to begin (That picture used „Start“ would be „el inicio“ in Spanish) Parar = to stand still (That picture used is „alto“ in Spanish)
Yes and no. I agree this is a normal way to write it out. Sometimes less is more for memorization. If you remember the verb itself, it doesn't matter if there is a to in front. It's like every noun having he, she or it in front. It doesn't seem to me that it serves any true purpose when it comes to memorization. We know it exists, but do we need to memorize it with the to? I don't think we do.
I love these videos but the music at the beginning and end is loud and obnoxious. I listen while falling asleep and the end music jolts me back awake every time 🤦🏽♀️
I am finding this lesson a bit confusing. Trabajar is a verb therefore should be: "to work" and not "wok". Aprender should be: "to learn" and not simply "learn. Words" ending in: ar, er, and ir they are all verbs.
Oh great another video where the audio cuts off in the beginning of the word so you can't really hear the whole word where do you guys find these horrible computer programs that cause your videos to flop like this
Citizens are quietly sitting by watching robots and AI take over normal jobs, that require no health insurance, no need to transportation to work , no food and OBEYs commands -- it will be sad when all the name brand items don’t matter anymore -- keep existing people
Do not watch nor listen to the video. If the Admin is Not competent enough to know that the words and definitions are incorrect, then who the heck would watch to learn,😮 NADA. Good grief! Take this video down please 😢
