Imo most important is to just use summons. They want you to use them, the content is balanced around them. Stop trying to “fight the bosses fairly” doing rolls, jumps, and occasional R1. You are doing a self imposed challenge run that way and unless thats what you are going for, you are frustrating yourself for no reason.
@@rpgdivision lol definitely feels that way a lot of the times, like when golden hippo hits you with his giant hitbox spike attack for 80% of your HP at 55 vigor and 8 skadush fragments
I think worst I've seen so far is on NG+ against that Carian Knight in Castle Ensis. One attack around 70% damage with 20 Blessings and Golden Vow. But yeah hippo does hippo things I guess. At least that is believable to a degree. I'm all for enemy having one particularly strong attack. That is a good dynamic for any fight. Like the bosses in Dark Souls games. Almost all of them had an insane attack but it was usually easily avoidable and it served to break the rhythm. Insane attacks from enemies in ER kinda lose their purpose in terms of wow factor if most other attacks can deal close enough damage.
@@rpgdivisionI'm on ng+ 5 with a Max lvl char, maximum blessings, all defensive talismans and armor, and that guy can still one shot you... You have to go full defensive with crazy spell and consumable buffs against this bastard. To be fair, if you do that + HP recovery skills or weapons you can face tank and heal though everything in this game
It's ridicoulous that you think achievments are something that adds to a value of the game and not actual content,don't get me wrong i understand people like achievmenta as something that adds oh look i did something meaningfull,but you should judge DLC and game by content and quality not some achievments that are probabky easiest thing to do for developers.
@EyefyourGf dude.. look at my channel..I've got every souls game beat and documented... call me childish... I need my dopamine hit.. and there's nothing better than the sound of a trophy popping after you die 200x on a boss... eff them for even making me have to take this stance..lololol
@EyefyourGf it's great content.. don't get me wrong . It's elden ring 2 essentially... but them not adding something as simple as achievements really destroys it for me
