The Betz mystery sphere was literally a ball check valve, they even determined what company made it based off of its properties like weight, metal composition etc lol they even think they know who lost it originally lmao

@bryanergau6682
@bryanergau6682 Год назад
Your info on the Betz sphere is WAY wrong. It was stolen from the guy who found it and replaced with a hastily made replica. The original was x-rayed and showed 2 or 3 smaller orbs inside with what appeared to be wiring, and after it was replaced with the fake, it was x-rayed again and was now empty. The real one had no seam, and the second one did. The guy who found it took it to some kind of conference and received a weird phonecall from someone claiming that his mother was in an accident, and he tried calling her but couldn't get through so he left in a hurry without the sphere and when he got there, his mom didn't know what he was talking about. He was intentionally separated from it while a fake was made and when he came back, the people he left it with kept stalling for time until they finally gave him the cap one back and it wouldn't move around anymore.

I just can't fathom where scientists, experts, archaeologists, and ancient historians get the notion that we know ANYTHING at all. We have best guesses, and that's it. We can only make those guesses based on what we dig up - which is next to nothing at all. We have no way of knowing just how old mankind is, we have no way of knowing WHERE mankind came from or just how long we've been on what continents. If we were inhabiting the whole of the earth's surface for millions of years, we would be none the wiser to it than the currently accepted theory. Even our most impressive structures would be gone after that amount of time - dust. Rubble. We can even see such extreme weathering on certain megalithic ruins that APPEAR to be man-made, but it's almost impossible to tell due to their extreme age... anything we build in modern times? out of metal, plastic, etc? that stuff doesn't last millions of years, biodegradable or otherwise. Concrete? It could, but the density and water-tightness of ANY of our current concretes, even the best, are not sufficient to last even tens of thousands of years. The only examples I can think of are ancient geo-polymers and/or what appear to be cement mixtures that are actually superior to what we use in construction today - even in high-tech fallout shelters etc. There was cement in ancient times that is more water tight and longer lasting than what we have today - that alone, and that you can find it in more than one place on our planet, tells me we don't know jack about our origins, or our past, or that of our planet. It drives me CRAZY when "experts" suggest "oh civilization has only been around ____ years" or "this was the FIRST civilization" - etc. How many times have they made such claims and had to own up to having been wrong already? My bet is, we're going to be eternally wrong unless we find some ancient record of the entirety of mankind's history. I doubt that's going to happen. It'd be great, but... I won't hold my breath. ...anyway, our recent pandemic taught me that I should be questioning ANYTHING and EVERYTHING my "experts" and the "arbiters of truth" say to me... they proved they are far from "experts" even in their own fields, they're often just arrogant and want that government grant. Many even go out of their way to destroy competition - meaning people in the same field as them. You can see this everywhere from medicine, to archaeology, into any other field of study one can possibly think of. The addition of money and government influence destroys credibility from the get-go, but it's ROUTINE for "experts" to sabotage those "below" them - regardless of how much merit their ideas hold. It's all about the $$$, after all, at least once the well is poisoned with it.
@JP-je6jg
@JP-je6jg Год назад
I'm afraid I can't agree with your dismissal of 'experts'. 'Experts' of any field, base their conclusions off of evidence, whether that's what's found in the ground or clinical tests or experiments. All scientific conclusions need to be evidenced. If new evidence, say a new archaeological site, is discovered, that challenges the current view, provided it is credible and verifiable, then 'experts' will change their opinion. This should be celebrated, not mocked. Do you really want to live in a world where 'experts' can't admit they are wrong? If experts didn't change their minds then we'd still be treating medical conditions based off the medieval understanding of the 4 humours. Good luck with that. How else do you propose we ever learn about ourselves or our planet other than following evidence based science? Do we just not bother because...we might end up being wrong?! I'm not sure if you are proposing there has been past civilisations, but I find your line of thinking to be quite ridiculous. To dismiss an expert based on what they 'don't know' is just absurd. It is of course sensible to keep a critical mind. Evidence and statistics csn be twisted and presented in whichever way wanted. It is important to note who paid for the research, do they have an agenda, hence why we had so many studies saying smoking wasn't harmful to health. This is where peer review comes into it and continued work at a subject, even if it causes previous understandings to be proved wrong. Experts in any field are all human, so yes, they are flawed. I'd much rather put my faith in learned people who actually study a subject to understand it rather than dismiss them because of what they might not know!
