I totally love this girl. Even though fishing is her profession and she's extremely knowledgeable of her sport, she's never cocky. She's so open to learning from others and she doesn't ever talk like she just "knows it all". She knows that she can gain knowledge from others and she's just so happy to learn and that's so nice to see. Love your videos darcie!

If I'm not mistaken that was a commercial fishing boat, and they do things a bit differently.. But when you are going to keep a fish, i don't think it really matters if you gaff them or net them..

Great video.I was using a live mackerel for bait hoping for a 40 plus inch striper when I hooked a great white shark while fishing from my kayak. Wow Sure brings back memories of when i was a kid. My dentist in Ct had a 27 ft Steelcraft and we would go out to Montauk from the Ct river quite often during the summer, usually about once a week. Hi wife, his brother and myself................ ( i drove the boat ) Many stripers and blue caught I am talking 1954-1955 I went into the service 1956 Such great memories. Just "keep on fishin'"

Hey Darcie if you want to catch big strippers in MTK you have to come last weekend in June beginning of July.Usually July 4 marks the beginning of the cows showing up especially on the July full moon.by 1-2 week of August the bigger fish have moved on to the SW ledge off of block island were we catch slobs trolling snakes,or tubes.

We get a great striper bite up here in Maine. Some real beasts up here i have some pics that would make you guys plan a trip here nxt summer mid july is Hot Hot for stripers. My daughter is 15 & we are coming down to Marathon mid Oct wanted to thank you guys for putting out the info you do. Its really peeked her interest & helped me figure out what lures,depths ect. I got a load of Ballyhood lures💪💪 thanks to your channel. I cant wait for these kidos to catch some nice ones💪💪. We are all about family my wife n i never venture off alone its all about showing these kids the world🙏. We will have our time once their off to college. Then its on😏😅

I'm from Rio Vista, Ca we have a striped bass derby every year in October usually the winning stripper is over 40 lbs. this bass derby has been going on for over 100 yrs. the strippers come in the SF bay every spring & fall. Nice fish you caught in the ocean they're a very clean fish.

I enjoy your channel and, like your boyfriend, I am originally from LI. I do have to say that I have heard about Elite multiple times and it has never been good! People on and around LI avoid them! I think if people do their homework they are going to find these guys have a very bad reputation and are obviously trying to tap into clients outside LI to keep their business afloat. No disrespect to you but, I hate to see people get burned and you look bad because of it. Tight Lines!

Or some of your old I was reading some of the comments from your older videos. I use the same size circle hook and use prawn as bait for stripers in the Shubenacadie river and catch 30 - 45 pounders. Best time to fish is when the tide goes out.

Hi Darci,That's the kind of fishing that is popular in the San Fransisco and suisun bay also the delta around the Rio Vista area in Calif.Those are very solid fish,i like to fish them with what is called a NOODLE ROD,that's a 12 foot rod that is ultra light,and i use a 6500 Garcia bait caster reel and 6 lb test line with and 8 xx circle hook.but he we anchor up and bait fish incoming or outgoing tide.it's a little more laid back type of fishing.great video that boat is the type that's popular here too.

That's the kind of boat you and Brian need to invest in. Love the Live well. And when Florida weather is rough, you have the inside area for comfort and for eating and just chilling. Your fans would have plenty of room If they get lucky enough to be able to go fishing with ya'll. I know your Dad would like that boat, hope he's doing well. Kudos to the Captain and crew.
