Love your channel. Keeps me motivated to continue to memorize. It’s taken 30+ years to etch the gospel of John, Hebrews, Col, Phil, 2 Timothy and 10 Psalms and working on my crowing achievement (for me personally) - Psalm 119. I’ve been at it since Feb 3 - hitting it everyday - and I’m 120 verses in - it’s changed my life. Sweeeet Jesus. Keep up the good work, Josh!

Josh, your channel is one of my favorites. Congratulations on reaching this milestone. Most of my memory work has been rote memorization. I have followed Pastor Davis' method, generally. I use and Anglican Rosary as a memory device. I have read moonwalking with Einstein and I'm intrigued by memory palaces. I'd love to build one for chapter summaries but how do you chain them together? Also, while my memory work has been whole books, I think topics would work especially well using mind palaces. I'll look forward to your book.

Maybe you explain why the bible is so important when only one third of all total religions is Christianity?

The logic behind this question is so weird and misguided, it's not worth spending the time arguing the question AND explaining the value of the Bible.

@@BibleMemoryGoal Well, since you can't see the value, I'll tell you. In the bigger picture of total world religion, Christianity is a minority. That means the majority of humans do not prescribe to your sense of importance. So to spend so much time memorizing biblical rote basically only means something to your club. And to top it off, the bible is well-known as a flawed source that has mistakes, major parts deleted, and edited by a church that had a power and political agenda. Further, it still contains horrific elements that most Christians ignore. But I applaud your standard deflection which frequently used when someone can't or refuses to deal with the truth. I'm sure one third of the world's population is happy.
