For everyone knowledge : Maybach was started off as a separate company and was founded as such in the early 1900s. It soon established itself as a luxury brand. However in the early 1960s it was bought by Daimler-Benz the parent company of Mercedes and has remained that way ever since.

All S class and its derivatives (GLS excluded but S, maybach variants) still carry the upright star. Just bought the GLE and am sad I cannot even swap it aftermarket. Its not the bolt type its a snap on for all "lesser" mercs.

Actually RR have less features and comfort as compared to this. RR is more of an art and style statement than lux and comfort. If you ever sit in a RR you will understand.

@@kaseraraghav yes i know. I have experienced both cars. RR definitely have many plus points but RR don't really justify the price point. I know RR likes more hand made and exclusive stuff and have a minimalistic philosophy but i personally prefer technology and innovation loaded car than just exclusivity. TBH i still can't choose between both cars but i wish RR provided more features and ditch the minimalistic philosophy atleast in one of their car.
