FYI: I do go to the UP of Michigan which is one of our favorite place to travel and the Winnebago EKKO is built on the Ford chassis. Just so you’d know. 😎
PROs: Blind spot feature appealing, decent gas mileage, rear bathroom, ladder, solar, like twin bed setup, quiet generator, lots of outlets, decent storage above n under beds, appears to be user-friendly to drive n operate, etc.🥰 CONs: No AWD (big for me as well), price way too high for my low budget, refrigerator way too small (may need to buy an additional one), etc. As a novice RV’er, prefer a USED Class B. Overall, good video n enjoyed it, so ty for sharing.😍Subscribed.
Great review! You take time to show everything, I like it! I like the inside connections as we live in a cold climate and will camp in cold weather, and in the summer, I don’t mind leaving the doors open as long as the screen is closed. Not only that, but that also means less connections on the vehicle itself which gives a cleaner look.
Brilliant tribute and true battle legend love this man and turner family when we moved to battle they took my family in and showed us the battle ways . This man would help and do anything for any one MICK you are one of a kind and will be missed by everyone to me you will always be the uckham lane king Xxx
Jumped to a 2021 comparison of K and G. I love the twin beds and the large sink. But the other has a better front area and a large refrig. But a smaller sink. Unless the 2022 is upgrade. I like the micro wave. So only drawback for me is the smaller sink. Not crazy about gas cooking but induction plate is easy to use on top of the cover gas range.
I really enjoyed the video. Great interaction between the 2 hosts and the van's layout is fantastic considering the length. I have 2 primary questions. 1. height & width? I need to determine if if would fit in my garage or if I finally need to buy an outbuilding (I'm rural). 2. the roof. Is it totally flat or is there a curvature so the rain has somewhere to flow? We can get freezing rain out here. The thought of water getting trapped up there, freezing, expanding, and so on would keep me up at night!!
For the outside connection they should have drilled a hole so that you can bring your cable/water connection through. BTW the spray water is not a bidet. It's used to help clean the toilet.
Congratulations! this is a humanised camper van toilet standard. A cool and luxurious bedding with ample space. Above all, a real kitchen that meet any chef's standard.
Hello! In very excited to see your videos about the class B's. I'm looking to become a van-lifer. I live in California and can't see buying a home here. I work hard and have not taken a proper vacation since my son was 16. He is 41 now. I need to safe a bit more but Sunshine RV has my attention. I really like Nick. I think my home on wheels is going to come from Gainesville Florida! I want a home that will let me work from any where. Please keep me informed. Thank you so very much. Tell Lola she is a great vudeotagrapher!
Nothing compares to the 59K when it comes to all weather. Wind, rain, snow; you enter through the rear. Built in mud room with floor drain. Three sources of energy, solar, propane, generator. Lowest profile and widest Wheelbase. Purchased new in 2017. 4 1/2 years full-time. Loving it!
OMG, if you don’t know why you wouldn’t go to the UP in Michigan, you’ve never been there. It’s so unbelievably beautiful! If you don’t like the cold, go there in the summer. It’ll change your mind.
The water hookup and cable location would be a deal breaker. Looks like Winnebago could figure a way to put a hole that caps off when not in use and shuts while in use with a hole inside the cap for the hose and cable cord.
I do like the Winnebago Travato’s, love the rear bath but not to crazy about the small refrigerator. It is a great looking Class B, I watch Scott’s videos all the time. I do like there floor plans but the 59G floor plan is to small for me having two big dogs. But for me I still prefer to have a big garage space. Love watching the two of you when your showing the Class B vans.
Hank, I Love the video, found the timestamps to be extremely helpful when revisiting. Thank you very much, looking forward to see more of your content.
Why skip the fridge requirements? Does it run off solar continuously? Is the inverter separate, and how many watts? How much power is left for other equipment while running the fridge?
I could see that storage under the left bed as being a garage to hold the things that you need thing is awesome I want it so bad I should be in a position to buy one in a year and a half
I'm wondering how far the front seats lean back. The driver's side is close to the kitchen counter. Does the bathroom have an inside lock to the back door? It wouldn't be good for someone to open the door and give an impromptu show. :)
Could have a smaller well insulated, access door for water hook ups. Medium size clip on try for outside use (like the old car hop trays) for serving possibilities through kitchen window.
I love this unit but I would prefer the Lithium batteries. Is the roof flat? If so will water run off of the roof? My fiance and I are in the market looking for the right model for us. Is there an AWD model?
The title of the video is a bit misleading 'New 2022 Winnebago TRAVATO 59K' 59k?? many people would assume it sells fo 59k, it's not until the end you quote a price close to twice that amount.
I'm so torn by the rear bath. I love the idea of opening screened back door with expansive views from a rear bed. But that rear bath is so spacious. i've seen a custom van that created the bath across the width of the mid section of the van, being closed off w/some type of pocket doors set up between a front lounge area and bed area.
I live in Michigan have most my life I hate the cold and can't wait for the year in able to move south and degree in the winter in the UP gets below negative 0 temperatures
Love this one! I would just like a little more freezer space. Maybe something could be done under one of those beds. Just a small freezer. I like my ice cream .
Definitely need four wheel drive. An induction/microwave would be great. I can get a freezer cooler and a refrigerator cooler if I decide I need it. Can I get a heavy duty bike carrier for two e-bikes on the back?
I think the Travatos are a decent value for what you get. It’s not at the build quality of Pleasure-way or Coachmen (far from it), but that’s probably why it’s so much cheaper. My big issue with the Travatos is the small water tanks… and small grey/black tank.
This may be a dumb question but how long can you shower before the tanks are too full? If you only use the fresh water for showering (I plan on having dry toilet also) how long will the fresh water hold out?
Great camper for the $. What is the trailer hitch rated for? What is the generator output? What type of heat does it have? Propane capacity with the gas stove?
Hank I’ve been watching you a lot and all of your Shows and I can tell you that Florida sunshine RVs is where I’m going to go and I’ve made up my mind I want the ram pro master Trovato I like the layout I like the eaves I like it.
Nice floor plan. Will be checking them out at the Super Show in Tampa. Will Sunshine State be there? Is Nick still offering a Disney vacation with purchase for us StrangerPolooza fans?
Very nice van. Have a question. Do you guys do custom. Meaning same thing but in different area. Just a few different things? Like a sunroof and a double fridge or bigger fridge
Very nice coach. Spend 50 minutes watching it because your tagline at the beginning of the videos said 59k. At the end you quoted the prices 119. Waste of my time because that is way out of my price range. You guys are great and the coach was beautiful but the tagline was very misleading.
I’m a single senior & that set up is perfect for me except I would like a bigger fridge. Maybe with that many plugs, an Alpicool could be plugged in the back. I may be down for the Tampa show. Will Nick & Sunshine State RVs be there? Cheers, Mo in NJ
Do they put holes in parts of the Trovato in order to release moisture or is the insulation like the honeycomb able to do that because otherwise cabinets and things would warp or are they marine grade
I love Nick I think he is hilarious and the two of you comedy team and at the same time very informational I am going to go there on Nick’s Dime and I am going to come and look at the trivago and hopefully I’ll be able to buy it I have a plan I hope I can do this it really is my dream and I’m 61 and I feel like this is my final frontier go and explore the United States of America while you can and then I’ll let my daughter put me in a nursing home LOL
