Even in dark areas, you dont see the milky way like in the pictures. Its like they called the custodian who mopped up all that milk. Its very dim best seen using an EQ platform and a time lapse camera. Ps. EVERYONE knows the Swedish Chef is Norwegian.
Daniella I am English and I have discovered that I have Swedish ancestry. This is nothing unusual for the English, as Viking blood runs through our veins. Great Channel! 👍 Takk 🇸🇪 💐 🏴
Nice that you have some Swedish ancestry! You are right. We are very connected due to the vikings being over there. Glad you like the channel! I just signed up for your August Blueberry Class. I've been using the self-guided course, but I can't wait to try things out with a real group of people. Tack så mycket!
Tack så mycket för denna video! Jag har faktiskt en fråga! Hur såger man "what is the difference between" två ord på svenska? Skulle det vara ”vad är skillnaden mellan”? Tack tack!! Jag har lärt mig svenska i några år, och dina videor är väldigt roliga :) Snart vill jag träffa min svenska partner för första gången! Vi har varit bästa vänner i 7 år

They are different prepositions. The EXACT meaning depends on the sentence so its hard to say 100 % what they mean since they can have different meanings. But in most situations "med" is our word for "with" For example, "kaffe med mjölk" = coffee with milk "Hos" could be translated to "at" and is used to talk about being at someone's place (normaly a friend / family member or at the doctor) Jag är hos en kompis = I am at a friend's place Jag är hos läkaren = I am at the doctors Hope this explanation helps! If you are interested in learning more about Swedish prepositions then I recommend you to sign up to this online video course :) elansutbildning.teachable.com/courses/enrolled/1355032
@peterburn2909 explained it really well! Like Peter said "leker" is more used for playing like how kids do without rules, structure, more like "free play" when you decide how to play... with toys or running around in the park. While "spelar" require some kind of rules / structure when you play.. like boardgames / computer games or sports.
Good video. I have been learning the countries and nationalities in Swedish but they are so hard to learn to me. Could you reccomend me a website or is there a method to learn them without confusing?
Yes! You should join our Swedish courses. We talk about the countries and nationalities in the courses :) Pre-recorded courses: elansutbildning.teachable.com/ Live-zoom courses: elansutbildning.com/courses/

• ”Förlåt” means ”forgive” or ”excuse”, while “ledsen” means ”sorry” or “sad”. • ”Jag är ledsen att jag sårade dig” means “I’m sorry that I hurt you”. • ”Förlåt för att jag sårade dig” means ”Forgive me for hurting you”
I would love a video that goes over some basics of applying for a Swedish Visa (including info for non-Members of the EU). If you have time in it, maybe you could explain 1st hand contracts vs 2nd hand as well as "The Queue" 😵💫
Hej! Kul att höra att du gillar våra videor och att du tycker att de är roliga att titta på :) Those are very good ideas /suggestions. Unfortunatly, I am not an expert about Swedish Visa and how to apply. Not sure if I would be able to help you with that. I would recommend you to find information about that topic on Migrationsverkets page www.migrationsverket.se/English.html But.. I can absolutly do a video to explain the famous "queue" in Stockholm, or how it works with 1st and 2nd hand contract since I have experienced that myself. Thanks for that idea!
Hi Daniela! Can you also make a video differentiating "sätta", "ställa" and "lägga"? I am really confused with those words. Thank you in advance! 🥰 Your videos are really helpful and indeed fun! 😉
Hej! So happy to hear you like our videos 🥰 We have actually already made a video about those verbs :) Here it is ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-onMXj8QO2Wk.html If you want to practice these verbs even more (with a lot of exercices) then we have this Swedish course where we go through it. elansutbildning.teachable.com/courses/enrolled/1355032
I have lived in Kiruna for 3 years back in the late 80s has seen the Northern lights, despite the 4 months of darkness in the winter i loved everything about the City.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience in Kiruna! I have never been there but would love to go. It must have been great to experience the Northern lights there!
Great question! We normally use "åka" when you are going somewhere with some kind of transportation (car, bus, plane.. anything apart from walking). We use "gå" when we are talking about walking, going somewhere by foot. A common mistake is to say "jag ska gå till Sverige" (I will go to Sweden). This means for us that you will WALK all the way to Sweden, Maybe you can, but pretty sure you didnt want to say that. What you should say is “ jag ska åka till Sverige " Our way of saying “ I will go to Sweden”. I recommend you to watch this video we made about the topic. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cM6p-rbUcLI.html
I’d say that innan would be translated to before and förrän would translate to until For example: Jag kan inte göra det förrän på måndag= I can’t do it until Monday Jag gjorde det innan mötet= I did it before the meeting Sometimes they can be used to mean the same thing but there is a subtle difference like in the sentences: Du kan inte ställa undan disken innan den är torr= you can’t put away the dishes before they are dry and Du kan inte ställa undan disken förrän den är torr= you can’t put away the dishes until they are dry
