Most Popular Video Game Console over time (2000-2020) 

It was an overwhelming victory for the PS4. Who will gonna win in next generation? I pre-ordered Xbox Series X.

I love how every Christmas the amount of units sold gets larger.

So a large part of the reason the PS2 was so dominating in the early years was due to the fact it doubled as a DVD player, most of which were, at minimum, $100 in the early 2000’s (most good ones were probably double that) and it had a large influx of third party games to keep people engaged. It even got supported into 2008 with some entries like DBZ: Infinite World, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and a port of Sonic Unleashed. If the PS2 is ever overtaken I would be absolutely amazed.

its intresting to see that for the most part in 2020 nintendo switch is the one growing by a lot compared to outhers so it seems the switch is the go to pandemic console

My heart breaks seeing the vita do so poorly. Such a great console if it weren't for the awful memory and the overpriced memory cards it would probs be my favourite console.

my only wish is that the switch go over 100 millions and beat the wii and the playstation one, would be a really nice thing for the firm who saved the video game industry back in the day, and the only old video game firm who's still alive
