I am currently living in Hyderabad and whenever I feel like I am missing on Pune, I watch your videos. Also, after seeing this video, all I can think of is having a modak. 😅
The sweet dumpling that u were eating... similarly in Kerala we too have something that looks like that... its called kozhikatta... its this rice dough in which jaggery mixed with desicated coconut is stuffed and then steamed....
Nostalgia.... I used to stay here for a couple of days every month some 20+ years ago, and would have their thank for dinner. Good to know that their Thali is still popular . And I liked the way you ate the superfood moringa correctly without being embarrassed . Keep up the good work.

Very nice video, very well articulated. Shreyas is the best place in Pune i have found for typical Puneri thali! People who like very hot food, who'd rather drink chilli water instead of normal water and who do not like the culture of Pune (yes we are rude and our food is sweet, DEAL WITH IT!) please don't go here.

I had worst experience at Bedekar misal ..firstly the taste was pathetic I mean who comes with an idea of bringals, brumstick and gourd in misal ..they called it nutritious transformation ..lol.. n on top of it the arrogance spoilt the slightest pleasure I had after visiting the restaurant only bcz someone suggested me n I happened to reach the exact place ...but it was complete regrettion ....it's like they do favour by feeding u..
Ma'am please visit house of paratha at JM Road and try grand bahubali thali, which is simply authentic... I'ld recommend you to visit with your friends or family.... Thank you ma'am...!!
It looks delicious. But isn't it too much to consume for 1 person ? How can you enjoy the delicacies individually ? It would be wastage of lot of food ultimately....N money (undoubtedly)
There is a restaurant named cozinha de goa.. Supposed to be very good... For seafood and other non veg food.. The host is extremely nice and cooks delicious food. Its in kothrud. Please visit this place
@@MohitaNamjoshi Try Shree Baba Ramdev Thal in Nigdi. ₹250 per thali. Not a huge place but the food is very tasty & worth the money. Slightly Rajasthani taste.
Shreyas is typical Puneri thali, please go to places where you like to eat whatever food you like. Your review of Shreyas being "Overrated" is your opinion and you are entitled to it.

Didi after hearing your "Umm" "Umm" I went there with my parents.. It is not Thali, it's sweets in a plate. They added sugar in all the items (dal, Subji, Gravys, Raita, etc!) They spared only butter milk (Thank god!). Over all, it's really a bad experience. I mean so much Sugar! And you haven't pointed that out? May be you are used to it as a Maharashtrian.
