Do you keep stats on longevity? I know that would be hard because some people will repair at 4 or 500 bucks and some will replace, but I don't want to conflate first year reliability with longevity.
Great video as usual! 1:43 - Ordered my PFD 104 last year for $4,250, and out of curiosity just checked the price again. It's now even more expensive at $5,050!
What are you not listing Beko? I thought they were reliable? Is it still one of the most reliable panel ready? I have a a high end Kenmore, I think elite, that went bad after only a few years and have been caught up in the craziness of trying to replace so my main issue is relatability as I have a built in with high end cabinets. Sorry now that i didn’t replace what former owner of house out in which was a Bosch.
My builder only offers appliances from the sub-zero umbrella and offers Asko dishwashers. Do you have any idea how reliable they are? I assume that I'll replace it with a miele in the future given it is panelized and flusly integrated into the cabinetry.
My LG dishwasher is the worst I've owned. I had it repaired THREE times and it's now it's not working again. The control panel has been replaced three times as were other components. Also, I would not recommend LG's 'extended warranty.' The service is terrible.
Control panels are electronic and can be damaged by surges. You may want to invest in a whole house surge protector. It will protect all motors and electronics in your home
I've just read the comments about Yale's "best dishwasher 2024"on the home depot reviews page and there are people who had their tub rusting, wheels falling off, etc
