The more complicated all things become the more they seem to break down. I prefer my appliances as simple as I can get them.

right. and who would want appliances that can surveil you?

The Cafe's are so cute! Still, Meile would still be my top choice. Wolf for cooktops. Definitely would need a Gaggenau pizza oven. I like Sub-Zero too, my kitchen would be mixed up, like Frankenstein's Lab, function is more important to me than matching appliances.

My wife and I are going to be doing a kitchen remodel this summer and just have a few questions. #1 your thoughts on a microwave/air fryer combo. for in the base cabinet. #2 a slide in induction range vs a slide in gas range.

Microwaves are always fine. Induction is better cooking technology, but use more power and are more susceptible to power outages

You have years of data. Frankly, I'm not too concerned about year 1 because it's under warranty. How about years 3, 5, and 10? Even longer. I'm much more likely to buy from a manufacturer that shows me reliability over years of ownership. And mid- to long-term data can show me the trend of the manufacturer's dependability increasing or decreasing. If I see brand X's 10-year-old products having great reliability but it's 3-year-old ones having a much higher rate of service calls, this tells me it's on the downswing. Also, I think service calls may be separated by part failure and user error/abuse. For example, I lost my balance and leaned on the door of my front-load washer, causing it to crack at the hinge and needing replacement. That's not a part failure. It's a me failure. You could do a deep-dive video, one per manufacturer. Perhaps even include non-warranty service call costs. For example, 'In year 5, X had 12% service call and the average cost was $750.'

One year covers the most problems. Also, we provide free warranty service. With people moving or forgetting, the data is much harder

Had two brand new Bosch double ovens. First was removed and another brand new one installed, then that one didn’t work even after paying for service on the brand new appliance. Have you ever heard of this? Beyond the oven is there something else to have a professional look into? I’ve been saving to get a working appliance.

It happens, but twice? It depends on how it is handled, installed...

Haven’t seen Wolf/SZ on your videos lately, did they drop off in quality or are you no longer selling?

Very nice reviews of 'high end' products. Do you review anything that us blue-collar types can afford; like Frigidaire, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, etc.?
@YaleAppliance1
@YaleAppliance1 3 месяца назад
I can do that......LG, GE, and Bosch would fit that bill

@@YaleAppliance1 add Whirlpool and Frigidaire. I’m talkin’ BLUE collar; $2,700 max. Is there ANYTHING that does NOT utilize “Smart” technology?

Lol.. CAfe is $5000-$6000, Miele, and Wolf... $7000-$8000.. and don't even get me started on Thermador... I wouldn't touch their products with a 10 foot pole after having failure after failure on wall ovens and range. Come on yale... what is wrong with Fridigaire, and GE... too "low brow" for your clients? Geesh!
@YaleAppliance1
@YaleAppliance1 Год назад
Pete: This is the part where I say we service what we sell and can only do so with limited brands. GE is decent. Dont carry Frigidaire.

If you know a brand is shitty then why do you sell them??
