In this Mumbo Minecraft video, we look at the most satisfying things in Minecraft 1.17. Minecraft is satisfying in general, and there are very satisfying moments in Minecraft, but with Minecraft 1.17: the caves and cliffs update there are now even more incredibly satisfying moments in Minecraft! In Minecraft 1.17 we look at the sculk sensor waves, copper oxidising and spyglass + optifine + FOV30. It's incredibly satisfying.

I mean, it's not hard to do either, just put this command in a repeating block, and you're good to go. /execute if entity @e[type=item] run kill @e[type=item]

The trapdoor sculk wave is kind of reminiscent of Conway’s Game of Life, would look it up if you like looking at patterns like this. Ignore the Hasbro stuff that’ll pop up when you search it though.

When I watch the Hermitcraft and hear "peace, love and plants" then sees Mumbo doing a 360 trickshot to kill a mob. 8:12 Then seconds later he throws a goat in the void. I feel like Mumbo goes into creative and just kill mobs beacuse he cant on the Hermitcraft server.

That sculk sensor wave thing looks like it'd be a really good new randomizer for redstone...measure the first output to reach an edge in each burst. Since the pattern is unpredictable, you can effectively randomize with it

@@Sylvia224 Very true, although I would argue with Minecraft lagging arbitrarily it quickly becomes random-those patterns made sense sometimes, but there were definitely times where you could see different waves and triggers going off because it missed a beat in detecting them or something. Plus, if it was used to set up something for like a minigame where players wouldn't see the initial set up conditions, it would become truly impossible to predict as long as the randomizer was enclosed so it wasn't visible.
