It becomes less crazy and kind of sad when you realize that T-Series has been the number one most subscribed to channel for a couple months less than PewDiePie’s entire reign. Almost as long as him. - PewDiePie’s streak lasted 1920 days. - T-Series’ streak is currently at 1697 days. T-Series’ streak will surpass PewDiePie’s on July 16, 2024.

Exactly, man, RU-vid has deviated from its path. It is turning more and more like television. Just watch a random video from 2009 and you will know the difference. Even the individual channels are no longer what they were in the past.
I miss when Ray W J was on top, that was the best era of YT. That, or, good ole' Brookers from back in the day just being silly on camera. It all started going downhill with PewDiePie and in inception of watching some guy sit in a chair and with headphones on while playing a game or reacting to a video, or today's favorite - some dude with so much money that he can do some outrageous clickbait you gotta see. Meh...
