As someone loyal to No Franchise, the order _has to start_ with the Chargers. Masters of losing games they should, but also seasons. The Vikings are 2nd as they're masters of losing playoff games &/or games that would put them into the playoffs. After that the last 20 years? The Lions, then Browns. Even the Jets don't rank *this* high. Then the Saints & Falcons.
At least the Cowboys and Raiders have Lombardi trophies in their cases. Oh, I guess the Jets have one too. Somehow that didn't register in my mind though.
Vikings are the 5th-winningest team in the NFL with NOTHING to show for it. The top 50% of winningest teams in the NFL ALL have at least 1 Superbowl win - except the Vikings. Their history of jaw-dropping, stunning events and shock endings to block the Vikings from the trophy is gut wrenching.
I thought they'd be on this list too. A few great teams with Rivers, Seau, Tomlinson. And years before with Fouts, Winslow. Chargers did win an AFL Championship though back in the 1960s.
Well I guess I should consider it a good thing that the Panthers are on here because I got to tell you in the Panthers fan base we've got a lot of pessimistic whiners that just think that all hope is lost to the point where we won't even give our new quarterback a try or at least they won't.
Um some good names on the list but some that are missing. I disagree with the Cowboys considering they have 5 super bowl wins (tied for 3rd/4th place. Where-as teams like Houston and Jacksonville have never even made it to the Super Bowl (along with Cleveland and Detroit).
