The problem with the 4's is that the back tab tends to rip into your heal depending on what you're wearing, that's where the discomfort comes from IMO.

100% accurate! I don't remember this happening when I had these in high school 1989! I have 2014 "Oreo" blacks, but the back tab on that is a flimsy leather, not plastic. BUT Military Black, the tab does rub. @Andrew Talley, no..personally for me they are not wide, especially in the toe area.

When you said it depends on the colorway with the Jordan 4 I agree, I have the winters and those are super comfy from the fleece lining just transformed the feeling of the 4

Surprising to see the Jordan 12 and 14s on the top 10 cause cushioning and underfoot comfort in those with the zoom air units are top notch, and the materials are good too. But I do get how the collar area of the 14s and 12s might cause some comfort issues for some people. I personally don't have issues with the collar area or rigidness of it since I do have slim legs, ankles, and narrow feet. Jordan 3s and 4s, yeah I see how they are uncomfortable for most people cause, even though the phylon misdole in those are way better than Jordan 1s cupsole in terms of comfort, they're still bricks underfeet. But Jordan 3s are still my go to sneaker for walking all day whenever I travel (or maybe I should say traveled) cause the materials are still good, they conform to my feet very well, and I tend to like neutral cushioning setups more when walking all day, and the phylon midsole in the 3s and 4s aren't unbearably bad. I just put in comfier insoles in my 3s and they're instantly the perfect shoe for me. Jordan 1s, yeah no debate there. But they're still really comfy and cozy in how the materials just mold and conform to your feet, especially Jordan 1s with more premium leather. And if anything, the Jordan 1s make up for comfort in how durable they are, like it's almost impossible for the rubber cupsole to breakdown even after 30+ years.

Love to see a most comfortable. Which I think Hes is crazy, the 19 SE is my favorite. Full length zoom, double stacked in the heal for a super bouncy cushion. Figured he would love it. I guess it is super slept on, cause I ended up with every color. Also the 31 with unlocked zoom and the flyknit is way more comfy then any Adidas boost model people spluge over. To hoop in, I like the Flywade. Good all around. But yeah, it truly is to each his own.

They're in the same category as like vans or chucks which people swear are super comfy for that same reason. They're older shoes and need to be broken in and mould to your foot shape for them to be comfy.

Dino Sawr Facts! Believe it or not, my pair of shadow’s leather is better than SBB 1.0, Bred, or Royal or any other 1s I’ve owned or touched. I got really lucky on them. I’ve seen people with tumbled swoosh but mine is smooth leather

@@jasonjin5520 oh nice, got a solid example. Mine are very soft and I did feel they were softer than my breds but couldn't tell since I'd already worn the breds in and my shadows are DS. Never touched any SBBs and my royals are 2013s which also have a VERY nice feeling leather!

Most people think the 11s are uncomfortable because they only had all of the newer Jordan 11 retros. If you bought the early 2000-2001 Jordan 11 retros, you can feel the spring plate and the sneakers are actually bouncy. The newer 11 reaches feel like your walking on cardboard.

I have complicated feet but...1’s are the most comfy to me. They fit my wide feet well and my feet barely hurt after wearing them all day with my insoles. (Which have no cushion in them, only support) however something like the ultra boost will kill my feet after a day wearing them with or without my insoles.

I know everyone's feet are different, but I've worn the 3's religiously since the first retro in '94/95. I played in those in HS, the 2nd gen releases in college and then overseas. Even as I've gotten late into my 30's I still play in them. Teammates always cracked I was to the 3 what Sheed was to the AF1. We're synonymous. However........ the most recent black/cement release along with a few others the last 3-4 years used tougher leather, didn't break in well and were bulky on court. 2020's drops have been MUCH better and softer quality leather which performs better on court. (Especially the UNC colorway)

Jordan 4s kill me around the sides . Pinky toe and big sides . I remember this issue from my 1st pair in 1989 . They eventually broke in as I was forced to wear them and they were fine . My 6s had the same break in process and eventually became my favorite pair that I could walk miles in . Breaking things in like baseball Mits , leather jackets, jeans , shoes , women lol and cars even were the norm back then . Today is an era of instant gratification which shows in everything .

My thoughts on these: 1. Kinda surprised that jumpmanbostic said the 9’s had a cramped toe box. That’s my problem with 1’s even a half size up, but not the 9’s. 2. 11’s are uncomfortable once you start walking, I believe. If you’re just gonna sit and stand in them, no problem. Once you walk in them for over an hour, that’s a whole different story. 3. 12’s are the opposite for me. They feel like a brick when you put them on, but surprisingly I had little fatigue doing touristy things in them.

I agree on all the choices in the video. For me the 6's for sure, those just like it was said the tongue presses on my foot weird and I can't walk properly, it doesn't let me flex my foot enough causing strain on the shins, and the nubuck is just too firm for the toebox. The 12's that I had were the french blue and those I sold after a week, they fit fine but the stitching inside the toe area was coarse and grinding on my toes through my socks even, awful material. The 11 lows I have are a half size up even and they still too tight in the toe area squishing the pinky, I can't wear them for longer periods it's painful but still beautiful XD. The 10's are the only ones so far that have been a pleasant comfortable surprise (grey's from 2 years ago) however they do have their kinks, like a creek in the sole. I quit buying Jordans just for these reasons listed above, the materials are inconsistent and the comfort depends a lot on that variable for the models listed in the video.

The Valentine’s Day 8s are the most comfortable with crazy heel padding for me, the lebron 12 was rough as hell, kith lebron 15 is disturbingly uncomfortable, pg3 is an amazing driving shoe for a buttery clutch, Jordan 5 is my favorite shoe but still yet to break my pairs in

Honestly, 1's aren't that bad. I'm used to hard soles because I wore army boots for damn near 3 years and the jordans are fairly decent. Can't wear boost for more than 2 hours

Never worn anything above 12s but IMO 3s and 4s are the most comfortable and 11s and 12s are the least comfy probably because of that carbon fibre plate

I think you are right, those 2 shoes need some breaking time before they hit their sweet spot for comfort. on the otherhand, the quality on the 11 and 12 are so bad lately that they felt underwhelming.

I havent tried any other than jordan 1. Would not say its uncomfortable because i wear them everyweek. When i want to feel foam squishyness i wear adiboosts. Jordan 1 is nice and feel loose not tight in my feet.

I did pick up the Jordan 6 2018 Infrared yesterday pretty cheap. Always been one of my favorites and I haven't had them since 1991. After wearing them for maybe 45 min, 1 hour..yeah, they are kind of brutal! (damn.) The sides and the plastic high tongue rub in bad way. AJ1's are still the worse personally (**BUT AJ1 CMFT I have is actually nice!). Followed by AJ4..depends on the style, material used - a bit too narrow in the toe area with my black 2014 "Oreos" - meanwhile "Military Black" feels slightly better BUT the high back tab can dig into the back of the foot/ankle area 😒. Both are Size 11s. 5, which I had in 1990, and 7 I had in 92...I don't own them again, yet. *Still have to grab me a 5 when I get a chance. I don't know how I pulled these sneakers off decades ago, everyday in grade school/high school, even college without big problem. I guess maybe in my older years - 50 yrs - my feet can't quite handle these anymore. Ah...aging if fun! (ugh) One silly work around that has helped, I own Sketchers, this GogaMat insole they have is pretty awesome (Wish they sold these insoles separately in stores). Plopping those into AJ1 or into my 3's has greatly helped the comfort. Off topic slightly...Honestly the MOST comfortable sneaker I have ever owned are not Jordans or hell...Nike. Adidas Alphabounce Beyond M 2019. Expandable breathable mesh and a massive mid/bottom sole does wonders.

Most of the time people will say there Jordan's are not comfortable because they dont play in them,they use them as lifestyle and not as a ball shoe,most sneakers need to be broke in,my j4s were so uncomfortable at first but after wearing them for a certain amount of time the leather formed to my foot and now they feel super comfortable

mine is the jordan 4, tho i agree with hes-- my obsidian 4s (lux material) is more comfy than 2019 bred 4s 4 sure... i like 3s personally-- i've worn a pair of wolf grey 3s as my winter boot a lot of times up here in detroit, multiple years in fact (i have had a back up pair for other months).. disclaimer tho-- i haven't had most jordans if we're going up to 34, i'm j12 and under only... great video tho hes, it's funny that i just asked last video in comments, if you still wear a lot of jordans w/ all of the runners you keep raving about that i've never bought

Just an idea, but maybe make a video on shoes that you absolutely cannot wear, maybe because of sizing, width, etc... For instance, I can't wear Vans - 11 is way too big, and 10.5's are way too small...

The 11’s are one of the nicest models but the most uncomfortable. I took my bred 11’s to Las Vegas to walk around. Biggest mistake I did while I was there.

My most comfortable Jordan’s are 5s 6s 7s and 13s. The most painful is 4s …11s that damn pinky toe and 8s

I actually googled this topic because my dog are killing me after I wear 3’s. They have to get my my vote for #1. 11’s are up there for me also. Surprisingly I find 1’s the most comfortable.
