I have had 4 pairs of af1 and its my most comfortable shoe i own, it does take atleast 10 wears for it to be slightly better but its a shoe that gets more comfortable the more your wear it. I have had a pair of UB 4.0 and with my flat and skinny feet i couldnt stand them and sold them. my feet slipped sideways unless i strangled my foot with the laces and if i was standing for a long time my foot got sore.
@Tony Montana I don't know why people buy the classic vans. its like having paper as an insole, they hurt. the pro's are the best though, I've been skateboarding for years and I've been through a lot of vans shoes, they are comfy and have better insoles than most other skate shoes.
@@benzino3044 Yep that's a reasonable deduction. Just noting that for some people with a normal fit in every other regard Yeezys can be uncomfortable (in the heel). I didn't expect it either.
If you have wider feet you have get all air max a half size up to have reasoned comfort....my pinkie toe has busted out many air max when I was younger. Also was more active then most also shrug 🤷♂️
When I heard people think AM 90s are uncomfortable I was so confused. I've walked all around New York in air max 90s when I visited and I never felt any discomfort. Air max 1s too are comfortable to me.
@@guillermogallegos8477 Yeah I have flat feet and UB are just ok, nothing special. 350s are better for me because they are fairly flat. Just funny to see people up and down the comments echoing surprise that their favourite tech isn't the same as everyone else's, when that is the point of the video.
Insane I never felt uncomfortable wearing them .. they feel better the longer I wear them. Unlike UB wear them all day standing up my feet start hurting... guess I like to be firm on the floor
The most uncomfortable shoes I have are Asics Japan S, which is basically just a rubber sole and leather uppers. Asics gel Mai Tiger are also pretty uncomfortable. Other than these two, I only wear comfortable shoes as life's too short to wear anything else. My most comfortable are my Hoka One One Bondi 6 and 7. Asics Novablast and Kayano 26 are also comfortable along with the Adidas Ultraboost S&L and 20. As far as Nikes are concerned, I love my Pegasus 37.
@@saysoun752 LFMAO Japan S are one of the most comfortable shoes in their style because the Ortholite insole, obv any snkeaer with foam will be mord comfortable
@@pisderata I said the most uncomfortable shoes I own. I love the shoes but compared to ask my other shoes, it has to be broken in. Try on a pair of Hoka One One Bondi 7 and you'll never wear another shoe that's going to be more comfortable.
Eggs Chilli ok lady you need to chill 😂. I wouldn’t say they are “faster” it depends on how you drive and what type of race you are in... Also, not everyone buys a new vehicle every year. I’ve had my truck since 2012.. tbh WHO TF GIVES A SHIT ABOUT FUEL EFFICIENCY 😂😂 who are u Leonardo DiCaprio ?
Eggs Chilli so which car companies RU-vid video convinced you of this idea ? 😂 or did you yourself race every single companies automatic and compared with every single companies manual transmission ? Also what are you taking about here like consumer grade vehicles or top of the line sports cars that advanced race tech (i.e. lambo, Porsche, Ferrari, etc.) it’ll be different per make and model.. Take the L and just walk away buddy 😂
Eggs Chilli ladies like to be put down.. good girls like bad guys u see.. if I degrade your lady like driving, the ladies tend to go for me 😂 I can see u got ur pu55y mad wet over this convo 😂.. as long as u don’t drive a super car the manual transmission vehicles are (generally) faster.. sit on a pole woman and get to the back of the bus 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Eggs Chilli LoL ur acting like u drive the high end audi, Mercedes, etc. FOH u peasant.. go watch some more RU-vid videos of engines you will never afford.. if ur not into me then ur definitely a blue haired lesbian.. u probably drive a Prius..”oH i gEt 30 MilEs pEr gALLoN dURrrrrr”
Eggs Chilli u literally went and bought an automatic camaro? Holy cow I was joking about u being a lady and all but now I’m legit thinking u chopped ur 🥜 off and kaitlyn jennerd urself 😂... Second, why tf would u buy a camaro, mustangs are by FAR more superior holy cow... good luck with that POS
Don’t take this the wrong way, but considering a lot of these shoes are meant for ‘slimmer’ more toned people aka athletes I get why these are quote “uncomfortable”
mix One shoe ?? Hes found 100 people that agree all these shoes are uncomfortable. I’ve only recently been able to buy shoes I’ve never been able to before. The vapormax are nice but uncomfortable at $250+ ?? Something doesn’t add up
mix ye I heard they get mad comfy for heavier dudes but mine are on the way and I’m a little unsure on the how comfortable they’ll be. I’m a size 11 124lb/57kg little boy ._.
I mean, we can’t expect the air maxes and Jordan’s to be clouds under feet. That technology is 20-30 years old. Your not gonna walk around in an ultraboost and then throw on a pair of Jordan’s and say “wow these are oh so soft and comfy”
Nate Cole efficiency and technology wise, Jordan’s and air maxes aren’t high quality lifestyle shoes anymore. New, infinitely more advanced tech has come out and is much more effective than Jordan’s and airmax. But to sneaker heads, it’s more about the story. Jordan’s tell a story, one of the widely considered best basketball player of all time. Air max, on the other hand, WAS a great technology that some people think sort of shaped shoe culture back in the 90s. That’s why they are so expensive. Jordans and air maxes are not really effective anymore, but they tell a story, they have history, and they look cool. It has been imbued in shoe culture. It may not make a lot of sense, but that’s the way it is, and probably the way it will always be.
This is the point though, it totally depends on the person and their foot shape and size. I do not like Ultraboost at all, I'd take an air max 1/90/95 or Jordan 1/3 over them any day. Some people prefer a firmer grounded feel to a squishy one.
@@shoeman6966 Yeah, typically, because most people (60%) have a similar footshape. This is the shape the Ultraboost caters to. 10% over pronate, like myself, and UB are not very good for this shape as it will leave you unbalanced. Same as 30% under pronate. Then take into account foot width, foot size etc. Boost specifically is better for people with smaller feet, and weight - as more of either makes the tech squishier/less stable. Personally I find zoomx better than both react and boost. I just feel like shoetubers in general could do a better job of conveying this, as most just parrot the popular consensus. 380s for example are widely being called a more comfortable 350, with more toebox room. I got the same size as my 350s and the 380 crushed my toes and the higher arch killed the comfort for me - easily one of the worst Yeezy's for flat feet.
I always love watching all ur shoe reviews. I also Just got the Nike Joyrides today at the Nike outlet. I’ve wanted them since they came out and finally copped:)
The Vapormax are quite narrow and there's a hard lump just below the pinky toe. Chuck's are very uncomfortable, you feel everything you step on especially stones. Great video bro, sending power and blessings from Melbourne Australia ✌
Vapormax 2019 is extremely narrow and cramped. I have a 2020 pair with flyknit and it's comfortable af. Having said that, I replaced the insoles with molded insoles. It all comes down to size and insoles you put in them.
Something else to consider is how the average person has changed since those Cons and Vans were common. People are on average fatter and have grown up wearing super cushy shoes. So yeah a shoe from back when the average person was 150lbs isn't going to work for someone pushing 250lbs - 300lbs.
Vapormaxes are one of my favorites because of how comfortable they are, those huge pods of air on the bottom make them way more comfortable than some Jordans with just the one smaller air pod or other Nikes
to me the 720s just overall look nasty, I hate the upper and the sole just doesn’t look right to me. If I were to go with full length air I would def go for vapormaxs
Also add unstable, poor traction, and unbreathable. And one more bonus problem: The high slant on the shoes makes your feet slide forward, crushing your toes.
after wearing kicks with today’s technology and materials in them, then go to air max 90s, heck yea am90s are gonna feel like bricks but that’s only before you’ve broken them in. once am90s are broken in, they are literally the most comfortable shoe ever. i feel like am90s only get better with age
After spraining my ankle with the ultraboost, I never choose a squishy shoe. I didn't even do anything. The "comfy" squishy sole couldn't support the weight of my body, and it put stress on my ankle and sprained it.
True. I'm a wide footer nnd have had pro's and one's.. I go true to size but they can feel a bit narrow when you first start wearing them. The Break in is nice tho
I have multiple pairs of ultraboosts and I own vapormaxes but sometimes I’d rather wear vans because a super squishy cushion can hurt my knees and arches and vans are pretty neutral so I find them comfortable
Y'all crazy AF. I still play ball in Jordan 3's, 4's and 11's. Wore all through HS, college and overseas. However........ the last release of black/ cement 3 were terrible. Can't lie.
Well you're using mods, the video is about the shoe as you buy it from the store, ofc adding extra stuff makes it better, I dont care if its been 2 years since your comment
@@mihai96z3d and my comment was to help people who have the issue with the shoe . Buy a new insole might fix the issue , not sure what your problem is you bozo ? You waste your money on some 1s that are hurting your poor feet ? 😢😢😢
I have some of the shoes mentioned above and ummentioned here in the comment section. I agree with the Vapormax vote. I could not believe they were marketed for running. Walking alone hurt my feet. I wear them with loose laces nowadays just so I can wear them and not feel too much that it's a bad buy. LOL The react 270 is one of my favorite shoes. I got a 2nd pair with a different colorway because I liked my first pair so much. It's quite bouncy at the front which I like very much.
Agree with Vapormax. YZY 350-- the toe box is too tight and half size up is too long. Vans and Chucks are a non-starters period because I have flat feet. Damn vanity! I wear them all anyway and these feet hurt.
Jordan 1 lows, mids, and highs, they're either too tight or too loose, Vans sk8-hi, Any variant of Adidas, they're too narrow for my feet, I think a case can be made for Chuck Taylors, but I never had a problem with them ever in terms of comfort.
I have the same problem with Vapormax models as those people who mentioned them. It's not the "getting used to" part, it's the insane comfort of the midsole. After half an hour of walking they get more unstable, and after that it gets worse. After 2 or 3 hours it's pure pain because it drains your energy by making yourself stable on them.
I personally think that AJ 1, and 3 are comfy and supportive. Ultraboosts are too squishy and dont do my knees any good. React seems to be a it better but i personally like firm supportive kicks. m go to on a long walking day in NYC are Jordan 3s. But i do tie them tightly, where most sneakerheads wear them untied.
I’d be interested to see the Jordan retro rankings for sure. Also one that was wasn’t mentioned- Adidas Continental 80s. I wore my pair once and they felt like they were cutting in to my toes- been in the box since!
Actually surprised to see the Jordan 1's up there, haven't gotten a pair myself yet but I figured the soles would be easier on the feet. They're hard rubber just like Chucks though?
I think Jordan 1s are super comfortable especially when u are standing for a long time. I feel like adidas boost is overhyped and is only comfortable for an hour after that it is just hurting my feets.
i love my vapormax and my jordan 1 OG "Blood Lines" it did take some time to break them in like all quality foot wear I love my Loake 1880 boots hand made in England very classie shoes but it took 2 months of pain to break them in are the people voting actually wearing the shoes for time?
I think either I’m a masochist or I have feet made for generally uncomfortable shoes. Air Max are my #1, I love the closeness to the ground of vans and chucks, I like air Jordan models up to 16’s. Now, I have had Jordan 1’s that maybe had snags in the sewing inside that have made them uncomfortable I’ve had AM1 essential that have been uncomfortable...but to me boost in general is not comfortable. My foot sinks into the material and after 3-4 hours of wear it feels like walking in sand.
The cool thing about those rubber soles is that after you REALLY break them in, they're like Birkenstocks and form to your feet and they're super comfortable. After wearing them to countless concerts and bouncing for 5 hours each night, or skating or riding in them, you leave an implant of your foot in them. I wouldn't say I prefer Vans to my NMDs because they're so different, it's like comparing apples to oranges. I like the full contact feel you get in those beat ass Vans, almost like you're just barefoot, but at the same time, the cushion in boost is incredible. They're such different experiences and I prefer both honestly.
Put Vans in the microwave for 30 seconds and put em on your feet and tell me if they're still uncomfortable. Im not a genius this is known information.
Vapour max actually can hurt your arch of your foot as there way to low in the heel compared to most air max.. Okay for walking but really bad idea to do any type of exercise in
I dont think people understand that vans are skateshoes so they have to be the way they are and secondly, you have to wear them a lot so that they become comfortable. They feel better the more they get beat up.
