Hello from Hamurg, Germany! I can totally agree. Turkey is one of my favourite countries for cycling. The Turks are super friendly, traffic is respectful. The roads are mostly good and wide (although there is also very, very rough asphalt!). I have been to Turkey a total of 5 times by bike. The last time was in September 2021 with two friends (Izmit-Antalya-Edgirdir-Antalya-Izmir, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I3WVlPTUx9w.html). It was always great and I will definitely be back.

Hey, thanks for the informative video. I’m travelling to Kemer this weekend and would like to know if you know of any stores that hire/rent road bikes? I would to explore the area and do some of those climbs.

Hi👋 I’m coming from England in may next year for a family holiday but I want to get a few rides in. is there a place to hire a good road bike? I can bring mine but I’d rather hire if possible. I’m looking to do a few of the bigger ascents as well as a few flatter routes. Thanks for posting this video, it’s given me great info 👍

I got an honest question for you. I've been subscribed to you since last year and have watched all your videos related to weight loss with cycling and I wanted to know, is all of your exercise strictly cardiovascular exercise (mostly if not all cycling), or do you incorporate gym sessions in your training?
@Pedaler
@Pedaler Год назад
Yes 99.9% cardiovascular exercise. I would only incorporate gym sessions for injury prevention.

Coming from someone else who lives in TR ... the quality of the road surfaces is appalling, dangerous dogs are everywhere, driving is bad. Dangerous road furniture is everywhere. Almost all bike lanes (there are very few outside of Istanbul) are more dangerous than the roads. Worst of all most bike parts are pretty much unobtainium and must be imported ... but you need a customs broker for anything of value over €150, their fees plus grossly inflated VAT (up to 48%) mean it's very difficult and expensive. Domestic cycling market (non foreigners) has suffered massively due to all this and the gigantic depreciation in TL. There's some amazing scenery and good climate, but cycling is difficult and pretty much on life support now in TR.

I also live in TR. And I completely agree with your observations. It is dangerous to ride your bike. Mostly due to motorists driving like crazy.

English communication is good here and I’m currently learning the language. Also easy with voice translation apps. No problems
