For over 15 years and my whole life of being into elevators and watching your channel, I just want to say thank you for creating our childhood, the such fun memories, everything from beginning to end. If it wasn’t for you, most of your subscribers and elevator enthusiasts wouldn’t be here. From August 2006 to January 2023, we’ve had our fun moments together as elevator enthusiasts around the world. Congratulations on your 100K Silver play button award as it was truly deserved for over almost 30 years of elevator photography. Congratulations Andrew! You are a legend.

I've been subscribed to your channel since 2013 literally just after I got wireless Internet in my area. Before I discovered your channel I was really scared and elevators all because of a bad dream I had. But once I discovered you and the rest of the elevator community on RU-vid I have learned so much about something that I use in my every day life to get around as a wheelchair user and I'm happy to say that my fear is gone thanks to you and everyone in the community. Not only that, but you were the inspiration that motivated me to start my own channel in March 2013, so really all I can say is thank you! I've been watching the channel since 2010 anonymously before I had this channel. You wouldn't believe my excitement when the day finally that you got 100K Subs (honestly, you should have gotten this sooner like 5 years ago at least, but I digress). Congrats to you for this achievement. You absolutely deserve it. I really look forward to meeting you in the future.

For someone who is on the high functioning portion of the Autism spectrum and has loved elevators all of his life since he was born, I am very happy to see you reach 100k and get that well deserved play button! You've always been an inspiration of mine since about 2009/2010 when I first discovered your RU-vid channel on my old junky Dell laptop with Windows Vista installed on it when I was forced to stay at my Grandma/Great Grandma's house due to my mother's financial issues at the time (my parents had been divorced for a few years up to this point). Whenever I ever got stressed out due to irl issues, your videos were always there for me to escape from reality and binge watch much of your uploads. It also made me start easily identify my local elevators that I had no idea what they were previously. While I eventually got into bigger RU-vidrs that typically have 5-10 million or more subscribers throughout the 2010s, it's always been a pleasure seeing an older but underappreciated user like you grind your way through the algorithm to get as many views and subscribers as possible out of it and slowly but surely it has paid off big time as seen here. I hope you never stop posting on this platform, even if TikTok starts taking over as the #1 video sharing social media platform on Earth. Much love and respect to you Andrew and hopefully I'll be able to meet you irl one day when I get the chance, but as for now, enjoy your awesome shiny new play button and remember: Dieselducy is a real life train engine! ❤

You can if you want. I also have autism and I’ve loved elevators my whole life just like you, but I didn’t know why I did before I discovered your channel. I also thought I was the only person who was crazy about elevators. I actually discovered your channel from Jacob (The Elevator Channel) and his car wash videos. I discovered those videos in the summer of 2013, but never watched the elevator videos. They never came up as recommended videos either. I never thought about watching elevator videos at the time. Moving to the summer of 2015, I was going into middle school. I was watching Jacob’s car wash videos like I normally did, until I clicked on your video of the Mark VII Wesumat at the Nichols Car Wash. I thought it was his video at first, until I noticed it was the “other person’s” video of the same car wash. I then saw what I believe was your 2,000th video special. I was confused about the thumbnail, “so this guy just has an elevator button?” I ended up clicking it to see what it was about. Obviously I didn’t understand it because I’ve never seen your channel. Then I started getting your elevator videos. Don’t remember which one, but I watched it “just because”, but little did I know. I ended up watching more and more, thinking it was a phase for one day. I ended up watching more the next day and was hooked after about a week. Now here I am nearly 8 years later, and I’m still regularly watching your channel. Because of you, I finally realized why I love elevators, and I’ve learned so much about them. I also realized that there’s more people like me who love elevators because of their disability. The autism outreach videos especially make me happy because they are the proof that I’m not alone. I’m still very quiet about it though. I wasn’t really bullied for my autism, but I was for other stuff, which is why I still feel embarrassed for liking elevators and other weird stuff. I’ve made it all throughout both middle and high school keeping the fact that I watch elevator videos a secret. I knew I would get bullied if anyone knew. I graduated in June 2022 and none of my classmates knew. I’ve never said anything about it at my job either. I don’t know if it’s a bad thing. I then made my own channel in September and one of the first things I did was subscribe to your channel! I’ve only filmed car washes so far because they are the easiest to do without getting busted. I want to film elevators, but I’m an introvert and afraid I’ll get busted. End of story. Congrats again!

In the last year I have not watched this channel like I used to. However, when this video popped up in my notifications, I was like its about time! Andrew, you earned this by making awesome content. Entertaining and educational content. I have been a subscriber since not long after this channel started and what an adventure! I have seen lots of the world through your camera, one elevator at a time. Through this channel I have made friends like Cannycart, TJElevatorfan, and especially Schindlermn96. This channel also helped me when my mom passed away back in 2015. She loved the Dieselducy song and that little song always makes me smile. The Diesel Ducy channel is an inspiration and you and the Real Life Train Engine actually inspired and taught me tips, just by watching your videos, back when I was doing RU-vid.
