I've been married to my wife for 20 years. Having an intimate friend who cares for you, who you can talk with and respect is one of the greatest things in the world. It takes sacrifice because you miss out on other relationships and experiences. But will those really last? Will those people care for you while you're sick or dying? Do they even care to contribute to the relationship or are they just looking for what they can get from you?

He also won't let himself. The biggest problem, I agree, is that this woman doesn't *love* him for his emotional state, she pities him. And then wonders why he can't go out and make that work in the real world, she doesn't even see from within HERSELF why he can't do that. Even if you take the rational aspect out of it, surely she can see it emotionally? It makes my mind boggle.

Quite frankly with respect A.I. gathers how it feels from the system. However it will never supersede emotional intelligence for right now it’s still figuring like any living organism it’s place.
There should be relationship/ dating coaches in middle or high school, since most people at this age are struggling to interact with one another. Hopefully this will coarse correct the failures of modern society lack of human connection.
It won't. The problem is that average women can get attention and sex from top tier men and think that means they are on his level. Anything less is then "settling". Nothing will course correct until women start demanding a commitment from men before sex. Then these average women will not be able to get the attention of men out of their league, which means they will have an objective, rational way to be able to determine their real place in relationship value and won't think it's "settling" to be with a man on her real level.
No. The singularity is the name given to the "end state" of an AI that can improve its self. It gets faster then gets faster at getting faster ... It compounds exponentially to a runway intelligence increase... Faster and faster... Eventually... Its improving its self so fast and by such big leaps its reaches an infinite exponential. THAT point of ever faster improving is the singularity. Its not about being smarter than humans.
