Not true for me. Most of the ones i know are still together because of finances or children. They’re together but they aren’t happy big difference

It's the equalization of the sexes that has created a marriage problem. Man invented marriage to ensure a biological heir. In return, the man would do the provisioning. Previously, to ensure the success of propagating her DNA, the female would get with multiple partners and the community provide for her. Now, she is primarily dependent on one male, for DNA, for provisioning. To ensure success, she chased after the HVM. First for DNA, then for provisioning. Fast forward to today, she can provide for herself, plus the community has her back. She doesn't need a man other than his DNA. And having multiple partners increases her chances of successfully passing on her DNA. Women don't need men (provisioning) as much as men need women (biological heir). Until you change marriage back to its original intended purpose (biological heir, man provides), marriage has no purpose for either the male or the female. How do you accomplish that? Take away community support? No more single mother subsidies except for widows? Men compete against men, women against women, making it hard for women to provide for themselves and thus partnering up with a male. And what about the male? The woman needs the man to be constantly improving himself to compete in an ever changing world (evolution). I don't see that with 77% unfit for service, 50% divorce rate with 80% initiated by the females because she wants/needs a better provider. Society has gone back to the pre marriage days of tribal socialism. No point in marriage for the females if they or the village is going to provide for them. Since the men are all to willing to sleep with them without a ring and the village is willing to assume the financial responsibilities, why not sleep around and increase her odds of survival.

Incorrect, the number of partners DIRECTLY effects a WOMANS happiness in a relationship. Any more then 5 bodies and the chances of a stable relationship drop to close enough to zero to be indistinguishable.
