1916 for me is still THE classic motorhead album which introduced me tho the band. No voices in the sky was an instant favourite of mine. This one will stay with me until the end.
The 1916 Recordings were followed by 3 shows in NYC @ The 'RITZ' on 51st STREET . Lemmy pledged to the crowd that he would return and play in NYC every year for the rest of his life...AND HE DID !! I met Lemmy a few times....REALLY REALLY GREAT MAN !

Remember them playing this song live back in the day. Used to come out of Motorhead concerts with my ears ringing. Thirty years later I have tinnitus. Rock and roll is dangerous... to your hearing.
This is one of their best, more Motörhead songs, and less known by people, along with Boogey Man, Buried alive, Back at the funny farm, Make my day...man! They have quite a lot mind blowing songs!!! Forever Motörhead!!!

God that brings my back in 91. So much good music came out in that period. And was one of favorite . When that video was coming on... the stereo was on full blast .

Saw them play this at Hammersmith Odeon, think it was the first time they played it live. Cracking gig, walked out to all the traffic going past in complete silence.
I saw this lineup in a Bar on Long Island w/300 people in it, "Lamour Far East', Feb.1988, GREAT show. I Froze my ass off waiting for the doors to open @ 1AM COZ the P.A. company did not show up. Motorhead played till 4AM, did not stop once..played the entire Rock N Roll recording too.
@@sergeydukman5832 20 times, every NYC performance from 1986 on, and L.A. 5 times.....w/Wurzl, Wizzo and Phil Taylor on drums was their best performances.
I may not be super into Motörhead let alone consider myself a fan but I do like this song. The funny thing is is that I didn’t even know that today was Lemmy’s death anniversary and I had this song stuck in my head all damn day. Coincidence?🧐 anyways hope everyone is having a nice day
